Anyone else think Rondo is the fuck outta Dallas next season?

It's basically the worst kept secret in the league that he will be with the Lakers next year. Dallas has played like crap since they traded for him.

Wouldn't it be worse if that happened assuming cavs get the 3 seed. If PG comes back April 1 he will play in 12 regular season games than they will beat Toronto in the 1st round that adds 5-6 games a total of 17 games played. That's more than a preseason which could be enough to get PG in all star form.

Having to go through Indiana then Chicago before seeing Atlanta would be pretty tough. The ideal path is to chart a course through a combination of Washington/Toronto/Milwaukee.

Hopefully Kemba Walker coming back pushes Charlotte ahead of Indiana. I would love to see a Pacers Hawks rematch. I'd take Indy.

No idea why Dallas traded for Rondo. He's just not the type of guard build to succeed in the modern NBA, especially if he can't defend at an elite level, which he hasn't been able to do since his injuries. I'm just not interested in starting guards who can't shoot.

He even admitted that he didn't defend in Boston. Avery Bradley and Ray Allen or whoever was at shooting guard was doing pretty much all the defensive work for Rondo.

Woah, let's put that into context. Rondo made that comment regarding playing on a lottery team vs. playing on an NBA contender. He made the point that he had to get back to playing championship-level defense. I thought it was an honest, true point.

Ray Allen most assuredly was not picking up defensive slack for Rajon Rondo at any point in time while they were teammates.
