2014-15 Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We're on quadruple double watch in New Orleans. 5 minutes to get 3 assists and 2 blocks.

another game improve lbjs mvp #2 spot

Harden can't make clutch free throws for a guy who is good at them

And in the other end he hides and doesn't take the challenge of guardi the best offensive player on the clips, so much for his better defense

Yea, that 34-7-7 game really did him in..............holy moly.

Can't help but find it a bit amusing that a month ago everyone and their crippled grandma on here were praising Harden commenting on how much of a beast he was and how he is the rightful mvp. Then we have a close loss to Houston and it's like everyone remembered just what kind of player Harden is on offense. :chuckle: Kudos to the guy for being so good at drawing fouls but he has to be the ugliest elite offensive player to actually watch on offense.

I mean, Harden is an absolute monster out there. The problem is that he's just such a bitch when you actually watch him play.

Absolutely, It's a terrible thing to behold but you can't deny it's effectiveness, sadly. It's interesting to watch him in comparison to Kyrie because they are both are in the top 5 handles yet their style is totally different and the way they use is completely different as well. Harden will use his handle to bait you into reaching for the ball, then use his admittedly ridiculous first step to catch the defense out of position and actively go for the contact instead of trying to find the opening. Kyrie on the other hand uses his handle to break down his defender and get an open look instead of directly attacking the defense.

Seriously someone must have put a curse on okc now Ibaka is hurt

Rudy Gobert is a freaking animal.

He's got 20 boards in 25 minutes tonight.

Last game he had 19, the game before 22.

In 8 games in March as a start he's averaging 11pts, 17.3 rebounds a game.

If he keeps improving at the trajectory he has this season he is going to be one of the better finds in the history of the draft.

To follow up on my Gobert post, the Jazz as a whole are not a bad team right now now that I have kind of looked.

They were 19-34 at one point in February, and are now up to 30-36 having gone with a full blown youth movement since the deadline. Last 2 weeks they have been starting Exum, Hood, Hayward, Favors, and Gobert.....all under 24 and they have won 9 of 10.

If they can get another decent piece in the lottery this year and Gobert keeps growing at the rate he has they could actually be a player in the not too distant future in the west as they now have a pretty big athletic front line and they are young.

I always wondered why he went low i would have took him anywhere from 5 up. Just too much length to pass up. There defense with him and favors has been elite

Just add it to the list of guys we could have chosen instead of Bennett. Gobert…Noel…Oladipo…Giannis…Adams…Len…Dieng…Plumlee…Shabazz… But nope. We decided to go with donut boy.

You guys complain enough about giving up Wiggins, imagine giving up an actual impact player in addition to rookie Wiggins.

He was viewed as soft because he was French. That, and he showed poorly at the combine due to a knee injury, at least according to this article. Yet another thank you Gilbert for not letting Grant trade out of no. 1.

I could see that but you made me go look where he was drafted. I thought he went 12-15 this guy was draft 27 how in the do you not take him if you're drafting out of the lottery. With that length the potential if he hits is other worldly.

why arent we talking about how the heat crushed the cavs yesterday in here?? why is lebron showboating after getting hammered down 20'??? lol

So Knicks beat the Spurs, first time a defending champion lost at around the 60 game mark to a team with a winning percentage around .200...

Pop called his team out too, ouch.

Flipped to Raps vs Wolves and was pleasantly surprised to see Sam Mitchell working the sidelines for MIN. Sam's a good dude, hopefully he lands himself a gig sometime in the future.

Wow, Wade wants to make the playoffs.
