2014-15 Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think I hate James Harden more than any other player.

He reminds me of that guy from pickup games that plays to get contact and calls everything, making the game take forever. Except, of course, Harden actually gets to shoot FTs.

Plus, looking at him makes my face and neck itch. F that beard, man.

Ughhh. 22 freethrows in the most unimpressive 50 point game in history. 12-27 with 25 freethrow attempts.... SMFH

The officials may cause riots if this guy shoots 25 freethrow attempts on an opponent's floor.

Im not a fan of manufactured stars in the NBA.

You can't deny his ability to beat his man off the dribble, his handle is absolutely tremendous. however, the moment he beats his man all bets are off and it's all about finding the foul instead of finding the hoop. It's not a pretty style of play but it sure as fuck is effective. just fucking consider the amount of fouls Harden manages to draw on a defense, it's absolutely sickening and can completely cripple a rotation. Fuck.

Is it wrong to hope that James Harden goes for contact one more time and his arm just flies out of the socket when he throws himself backwards? Well sure, you should be going to the line James, but we've gotta reattach your arm.

Unreal. Next season is gonna be a zoo in OKC since Durant will be a Wizard in 2016.

So... OKC is about to beat Atlanta and Westbrook has another triple double.

How can anyone watch what Westbrook is doing now and come to that conclusion? He's got an MVP-caliber teammate. Star players that want to win don't just up and leave MVP-caliber teammates.

I guess I'll be rooting for the Heat so we can draw the Bucks in the first round.

Bucks have a bight future though. I love the way the draft.

NO could have Peyton/Noel/AD which would be a potential title team. But they rushed there rebuild and I don't think they can get to be a contender without luck.

Westbrook is only truly Westbrook when Durant isn't around. Durant is the immediate focal point of any team he's on, so their team has flaws. Westbrook just needs shooters and big men around him as opposed to a KD like player. Westbrook on Portland instead of Lillard would be terrifying.

Well, he could have had two MVP-caliber teammates if the ownership wasn't dirt cheap.

The Wizards are no slouches. The Wizards with Durant are just about as good as the Thunder with Durant. The big difference, of course, is that the Wizards are in the Eastern Conference. And, it is where he is from and he has made it evident that he cherishes the DC area.

Also, as @Jack Brickman pointed out, OKC ownership is cheap as hell. I don't know much about Leonsis, but maybe he won't ship off a superstar to save money.

I still fully expect Durant to leave for DC in 2016. And Westbrook to LA probably in 2017.

That still isn't even close to being a contender.

I feel bad for Kings fans. Had a shot of the playoffs, had one of the best starts in franchise history....and fire their head coach.
