Crazy Stat of the Day: Since 1999, every NBA Finals has had Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, or Tim Duncan. (h/t quentin-coldwater/reddit)

Ugh. This Miami and Chicago game is awful basketball. Neither team looks like they know what they are doing or what they are trying to accomplish.

T-Mac is great on Inside The NBA. Hope he's there for the long haul.

Sidenote: If Shaq stayed in Orlando, he & T-Mac coulda been an awesome duo

They would never have had the cap room to sign T-Mac if Shaq stayed in Orlando.

Tim Duncan just blocked James Harden's potential game tying lay-up and the Spurs are now ahead of the Rockets in the standings. Beautiful.

Clyde Drexler is one of the whiniest little bitches on a broadcast.... His partner tries to be fair, but Clyde is terrible...

Man... Spurs not playing around. I don't see how anybody in the NBA will be able to stop them.

lol @ the Mavs; they look disinterested in the game of basketball and Dirk looks like he's out of gas worse than Wade recently.

They still covered though; thanks to Raymond "GOAT PG" Felton. :chuckle:

Yep. Just another reason I really don't like Houston...

I can't help but be a fan of the Spurs as my casual 2nd favorite. That team is just pure basketball. I have no idea why people find them boring.

There would be no better compliment to a championship run than going through the Spurs in the finals. It would really mean something to beat them in a 7 game series.

I can't lie, I couldn't pull myself to root for Houston. I just couldn't, Howard is a bitch, Harden is a bigger one. The broadcast for Houston is awful. Clean block, got the ball, then hit his arm after. If anyone that's been following basketball for at least 5 years, and knows anything, knows they NEVER, EVER call that a foul at the end of the game. And if you think that's going to be called, then you're delusional.

Harden wanted his typical bail out foul, didn't get it. He's not that good where he can get to the hoop at will, he's not that explosive, if he can't fine a seam in the defense, he's kinda limitless. He is good at reading a defense, and picking his spots when getting to the basket.

That shouldn't be seen as a knock on Harden. I am just saying at a pure talent standpoint, he is somewhat limited when the defense is locked in on him. He makes his living abusing a defense on mistakes they make, not using his skills and talent to beat them. This is why he often sucks against really good teams like the Spurs.

I don't hate Harden, I think he's kinda whiny, and not as good as he thinks he is. He's a good player, a really smart one too, but definitely overrated.

I am glad SA showed everyone that they're really frauds as a team though. Houston would get swept if they played SA, or it would end in 5. I really believe that, they just don't have the poise, pedigree, or coach on their sidelines to mesh with the Spurs.

Such a pretender team.

Harden does the same thing Gilbert Arenas used to do... Easily where he learned it from...

Draw contact, snap the head back and you're on the stripe...
