Urban has gotten it done with Omar Jacobs, Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, Braxton Miller and JT Barrett. He can work some magic with Cardale.

I think this works sometimes in baseball, but not as much in football. I'm sure they know what he can do/not do. What really matters is how much time Urban's given him in practice over the course of the season. A good coach has the backup ready to go...we'll see.

Please remember OSU struggled to put away Penn State and Minnesota. Heck, today was a 7 point game with 5-6 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Listen, Ohio State has had a great year, especially with all that they went through. But JT Barrett's injury isn't what is going to stop them from a title - they're still a year away from seriously contending there. They weren't beating Alabama (assuming a 1/4 matchup) with or without JT.

Fixed. Sorry man, Ohio State is not good enough to win a National Title this year. They weren't with Braxton, they weren't with JT, and they won't be with Cardale. Next year they absolutely have a chance - Barrett is a very special player who will have a year of experience and an entire offseason to prepare to be QB1. But not this year...sorry.

Listen - I try to offer the other side of things, as I'm a college football/general sports fan but not an Ohio State fan, and I enjoy talking sports with all of you. If you guys want me to though, I'll stop posting here.

Thanks SGM405...I like Ohio State not a nut rider tho and I would agree...just not enough defense and consistent play for 60 minutes...fully expect to see Oregon versus Bama for all the marbles
