Hawks looking to be aggressive in FA.

Ferry setting to spend all of the Hawks cap space just like he did with us in 2005

He just cleared cap space as long as they waive salmon by tomorrow thats about 5 million saved. Salmons is only guaranteed for 1 million. that puts them 20 million under the cap if they renounced rights on all their free agents

Like I've been saying. Melo isn't looking to take significantly less money. He wants his money on a good team.

Free-agent guard Jodie Meeks has reached agreement on a three-year, $19.5 million contract with the Detroit Pistons, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Overpaid ?

So happy for Livingston getting that big paycheck from the Warriors after all those injuries...

They say free agency doesn't truly begin until Detroit gives someone a bad contract.

That's exactly what I thought, way overpaid for a high-usage chucker with no other real skills. TBH, having 3 of that type of player in Meeks, Nick Young and Wesley Johnson is what tanked the Lakers this year. I don't think they did it on purpose, but it sure drove their tank... :dunno:

Anyway, not a fan of Jodie Meeks. Sets the bar high for a mediocre SG free agent crop. I'm hoping we hang onto CJ Miles for a lot less. Or not.

This guy has been talked about for a while now...I just don't see it. Never been impressed after watching him play when I've tuned into Real Madrid, and not even impressed after watching YouTube highlights (which we all know can make Alonzo Gee look like the GOAT). Maybe I'm wrong, but I just see a PF who would rather be a SF.

Holy advertising. That court looks like a minor league baseball stadium.

Mirotic is basically a bigger, more athletic, more versatile version of that Teletovic guy who the Nets signed. Plus he's only 23, and his skillset would work well with either Noah or Gibson in the Bulls' frontcourt. I actually think he's a great pickup for them.

Raptors have traded Steve Novak and a 2nd rounder to the Jazz for Diante Garrett. Garrett will be waived. - Per Woj
