The committee would have some really interesting decision to make if the following were to take place today:

'Bama loses to Florida
Clemson loses last second game to UNC
Iowa loses last second game to MSU
Stanford blows out USC

'Bama is out with a loss, but do close losses by Clemson and/or Iowa still keep them in the playoffs? Does a big win by Stanford merit jumping them over OSU or Iowa?

It's crazy, because I can see how logical arguments could be put together for all of those teams (maybe even UNC) if that were to play out. It'd be very interesting to see how the committee ultimately separates the best 4 teams in that instance.

This was never going to be a game. Florida's defense came to play, but they can't keep Bama out of the end zone all night.
