2015 Draft Prospects

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm honestly not sure if Cardale even makes it to the 12th pick anymore.

GIVE ME CARDALE JONES AS THE BROWNS QUARTERBACK NEXT SEASON NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!

I'm assuming this is all sarcastic hyperbole, but honestly after the Manziel talk around here last offseason who the fuck knows what some of you are smoking.

I don't think it's hyperbole. I want Cardale in Cleveland. Glenville kid, chose Ohio State to represent his state, led his team to a National title. Next logical step is to win a Super Bowl for his hometown team, the Cleveland Browns. With the dearth of QBs out there, why not? He could be a superstar in the making. He could be Cleveland's Big Ben. I think he's that type of player. Hard to bring down, monster arm, and can run the ball. I would definitely take a chance on him if he declared.

Anyone who tries to play Cardale Jones at the NFL level in any of the next three seasons is doing it completely wrong.

Mid-round developmental guy if he declares this year, which is exactly what he should do.

Even as a mid-round pick with developmental upside, you're looking at $2.5 million at the worst.

He's certainly not going to start next season for OSU, he's got a family to provide for, he's already four years removed from high school.

He's a fucking OSU legend, though. That run the team just had is insanity when thinking about it.

I'm not at all saying he should be, but people need to remember that NFL teams are insane, especially when they are desperate.

Remember, Christian Ponder went 12th. EJ Manuel went 16th. All it takes is one team to fall in love, and with a QB draft class that is pretty limited after the first two guys and a piss poor FA class, I could easily see somebody taking a chance on him earlier than they should.

.

No reason to think the boosters can't feed him and his family for another year.

So would you rather start Barret or miller next year?

I think both play quite a bit. True two-QB system that's just impossible to defend.

Miller could also go to the NFL, I think that makes a ton of sense of him as well. Certainly moreso than transferring to another school.

When I heard Wilbon say he'd take Cardale over Winston in the draft right now, I went nuts.

Wilbon has some pretty good insight when it comes to prospects, I would like to agree with him - but at the same time I dont know if Cardale is completely NFL ready.

Although I would love him on the Browns.

Everyone knows Cardale isn't NFL-ready. That's not even a question.

Wilbon must be off his rocker, than. Other sports analyst's sitting around replied in awe, but he was pretty sure on his statement.
