For the Rockets to have any chance, Harden will need to outplay Curry, and I don't see that happening. Howard will also need to be dominate, not just "good".

He's actually the only true mismatch against the Warriors, as they do struggle at times against really good big men. But, he's not a 30 point per game kind of guy.

Man I really think we have a shot against the Warriors.. I know there's not many that would suggest they want the Warriors over the Rockets, but I really kinda like the thought of guarding shooters over having someone in the middle to negate LeBron's drives...

Tho I know Bogut is an excellent rotating defender--- I just feel we can win the rebound matchup vs GSW and have enough length on the perimeter to defend their guards as good as any team...

Ariza, Brewer, Smith can all defend LeBron and Kyrie -- Ariza and Brewer are trouble on Harden drives and Howard doubles...

It may be extreme thinking, but I like our matchup with GSW a lot better than Houston..

The Warriors are going to sweep them. This is a huge, huge mismatch on almost every front.
 
I hope the rockets lead all 4 games going into the 4th and lose by double digits

Howard is capable of dominating the interior and slowing the game down. A guy like Bogut who is a good defender, isn't capable of stopping Howard.

I don't like Houston's chances at all, I am just saying Howard is going have to be dominant for them to have any chance. Stopping the Warriors is all about tempo and slowing the pace down, and making them playing an ugly slug fest. It's hard to sustain, but Memphis gave other teams a blueprint of some hope at least.

I think the series goes 5, wouldn't discount a sweep. I say the Warrior go up 3-0, Rockets come out with one desperate performance in game 4, and it ends in 5 in Oakland.

Cav fans that dreaded facing the Warriors should get ready, because to win it all we have to go through the best to do it. There are no shortcuts for us.
 
My favorite recurring theme I'm reading on the Rockets boards right now is that Golden State hasn't played a team as athletic as them.

You know, as if Golden State hasn't been playing in the NBA this entire season. NEVER SEEN ATHLETICISM LIKE THIS BEFORE!!!!

I think bogut is the best low post defender and Dwight dosent have the skill set to off set it. When guys like cousins/Gosal go at him the have to useful multiple moves which Dwight doesn't have. Bogut struggles with wicker players blake/cousins. Dwight has quickness but that fool don't know what to do with it. He'll beat bogut with his quickness but will try to finish with a hook shot which bogut will defend well. But I agree that is a heavy weight matchup.

If the refs don't bull shit Klay when he defends harden this series ends in 5

The series is going to be one-sided. We are the only team left even capable of challenging the Warriors. Even me being bias, doesn't seriously think we are going to beat the Warriors either.

We have at least a chance. Atlanta and Houston have none at all.
