I normally don't put much stock into regular season head to head, but when you absolutely demolish a team all 4 times you play them, totally embarrass them, it's because there are too many mismatches on the floor. This series is going to be a blowout.

The Warriors are going to sweep them. This is a huge, huge mismatch on almost every front.

Howard/Bogut matchup.

Howard wins in my opinion. He's just physically stronger than Bogut.

The west is always susceptible to good defense. I actually thought that not having Love meant the Cavs chances were over, but then they started playing their best defense of the year, and now I think the cavs might have their best defense of the year. I thought out gunning them was unlikely, but now we are playing tougher defense...

Maybe Golden state is the best defensive team left, but I have the suspicion their offense feeds their defense and not the other way around. We will find out in the next two series. When they don't look good offensively, they look very mediocre defensively like against Memphis.

Let's hope we get the opportunity to find out.

i think houston has a better chance than LAC would have. in the first round, GSW vs LAC would be a good matchup, but the Clips would be too gassed to compete in the WCF. The Warriors would just run them out the gym like the Rockets finally did.

The hack-a-shaq nonsense kept the clips alive. Houston should have ran them from the start

it'd be awesome to see houston vs cleveland. the 2 most hated teams left. no one wants to see either team win a title

This is the thing about the Warriors. No matter where your best offensive players are and no matter their size, they've got people that can defend them at a high level. They have really good defenders to run at Howard and Harden.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have absolutely no one at all to throw at Curry. He's going to have a damn field day with Jason Terry.

lol you act like the rockets are a bunch of Dleauge scrubs and GSW are the Monstars, I get it you don't like James harden, but the playoffs is a new season and Houston just beat the clippers 3 times in a row, the clippers were freaking scary and playing out of their minds until the epic joke job on game 6 (LAC did beat the spurs don't forget that)

The people who say its gonna be a 4-1 or a sweep are delusional, this series will most likely go six to seven games and will be pretty damn close....
I will be rooting for Houston because I always love the underdog and I would love to see what all those GSW writers and reporters who crowned the warriors already will have to say when their beloved team looses.

Nothing scares me more than harden and Howard being NBA champions. I would rather Any NBA players win it than them.

Josh smith aswell doesn't deserve to win.

but I would rather face them in the finals than the warriors as I think we can game plan against them with much more success

A Howard/Mozgov match-up does not thrill me very much.

A lot better than Mozgov trying to play against the Warriors small ball. Draymond Green successfully defended Marc Gasol for large stretches. THey'll have no problems letting him defend Mozgov as well. Meanwhile, I'd rather not watch Mozgov try and defend Green or Barnes on the other end.

Why not? Mozgov is meant to defend big and true centers like Howard. Mozgov is 7-1 and big, those are the guys you want guarding Howard.

Having him guard undersize centers, that stretch the floor is where he struggles.

Howard is not the guy he was 5 years ago, where he'll overwhelm Mozgov with his quickness. He's not going to overpower him with his strength. Not anymore than what he does against legit centers.

Mozgov is a true center at a defensive standpoint that's meant to defend someone like Howard.

Well, that would not happen. He'd guard Bogut, and if the Warriors went small, then so would we.

Mozgov is going to be more of a problem against Atlanta, because he's not really equip to defend guys like Horford and Millsap.

He's going to not be much of a factor against Atlanta.
