2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well all the praise for Harden, and he alligator arms the three. Yikes. Houston played well, disappointing for them they couldn't pull this out. This was the game for them to get, and they let it slip away.

Didn't find them all that impressive.

I don't know, I still have an impression that they lack something.. that killer instinct or something.

I'd be very confident with a fully healthy squad.

Ariza has 20 points on 10 shots.

Houston has blown a golden a golden opportunity on a night that GS has been largely pedestrian outside of Curry playing well.

Livingston had a great game. This was a pretty even contest. Curry and Harden both great. Klay struggled and Howard got hurt. This wasn't a great game fron Houston. Jones struggled. Josh Smith had some costly late gaffes. Houston should feel confident moving forward.

Still sticking with GS in 5. I thought this game was the one Houston needed if they wanted any chance. Harden had a great game, Ariza great, and they still couldn't get it done, on a night I didn't think the Warriors played all that well outside of Curry.

That's got to be demoralizing, even without Howard much tonight.

Also, Howard-less Houston is hardly such a tough team to beat. Plus without Beverley and Motejunas. A good team, but nothing really special. They lack too many pieces.

A healthy Houston team would indeed be scary.

Rockets fought hard and stayed in it. Warriors just have more firepower. Rockets are basically a one man show.

I also think GSW is winning in 5. But it's not such a great task to beat this banged up Houston.

In a possible matchup against them, what worries me is Green x LeBron. He will wear LeBron out, and tired LeBron gives banged up Cavs little chance to win.

If they won that game, the Rockets would have a good chance of winning the series seeing that they would have beaten the Warriors at home and taken HCA away from them. Considering they played most of the game without Howard, this could have been huge for Houston going forward, knowing that they were able to win the game anyways.

In contrast, with the Warriors winning this game, I don't really see the Rockets having much of a chance in this series.

And finally, the Warriors are a much better team and a much worse matchup for us in a potential Finals series than the Rockets.

Come on man, did I really have to explain it to you?

Houston was over flowing with confidence coming into the night riding a huge wave of momentum.

They needed this game, and I expect them to come back to earth next game looking more like the team the Clippers were blowing out consistently.

I feel somewhat better seeing another team bang with GS at home. I have more faith in our roster than I do in the Rockets, so it makes GS seem a little less invincible, at least from our perspective. But we will see how Houston fares next game...

It's so hard to win in GS, you can't squander any chance you have in that building. Highly doubt GS comes out in game 2 flat like they did tonight.

Harden had almost a triple double. I rag on him a lot, but he was absolutely great tonight. Very efficient, didn't rely on bail out calls from the ref. What a bad game to waste from him, and not pull it out.

I am sure he'll play pretty well going forward, but he was pretty much at his best, and they couldn't get it done. That's a bad sign, I think.

This was a shooot out tonight. Ritual bullshit game. I barely saw any defense. No way the finals look anything like that. Hope whichever team wins that series is prepared to grind because no way there is that little d in the last few games of the season.

Josh Smith is a good piece on the right roster but I don't care who you put him out there with, no team wants him as an important crunch-time piece. He essentially gave the game away in the 4th.
