2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very upset Kyrie can't dribble and move the way he wants. He can do things similar to Curry

Jason Terry is still on him. Oh boy, you can't make this stuff up. He just loses him religiously.

Dear Dell Curry,

I always thought you were a very classy player when you played in the NBA.
It's a shame you didn't teach your son to act the same way.

Josh Smith is just a horrendous basketball player now.

Mike Breen before the game: LeBron and the Cavs dominated a banged up Hawks team.

Mike Breen just now: Hawks are just so banged up.

No mention of Love or Irving or Varejao. What the fuck?

Also, Jackson and Van Gundy love to gargle the Warriors' balls. The finals are going to be annoying as fuck listening to these guys.

Imagine if the Rockets and Hawks played in the finals, how atrocious it would for viewers to watch.

I can't believe I wasted my night watching this shitfest. I think I could have found a lot mundane things more interesting than this.

Silly me thought Houston would put up a fight.

Honestly, I have no idea who we're going to put on Curry. We could put LeBron on him, but that would just create mismatches elsewhere in favor of Golden State. Even if we put Shumpert on him, then who does Kyrie guard? Because Klay is a horrible matchup for him seeing that Kyrie has trouble chasing shooters around the court who are always coming around screens like Klay is (ex. Korver in the first game for a couple possessions and Dunleavy last series).

I disagree Memphis is a legitimate contender. thats why that series was more of an impressive win than this one.

Memphis biggest mistake for this postseason and postseasons to come was firing Lionel Hollins who understood this team way more than the hollinger stat men.

GSW and The Cavs may be dominating their opponents because they are that much better than the opposing teams not a failure or inadequency of those teams.

The Spurs couldnt play the physical defense that was the clippers undoing to the rockets.

Golden state however can

Washington was a looking to be a stalwart defensively but they couldnt withstand the Runs Atlanta was producing meanwhile the Cavs can.

Chicago meanwhile took their best shot against the Cavs and came up short. The Cavs had lineups that were just too efficient for Chicago to deal with.

Golden state showed defense but some were skeptical about how that defense would show up in the playoffs.. I believe that question has been answered but the team certainly did show lapses early on.
Spurs appear to have finally aged out. OKc wwas befallen by mega injuries to the point they didnt even make the playoffs. Indiana lost their best player and never recovered. Miami lost the best player in the NBA. Both Conferences are undergoing a power shift where everything was up for grabs and two teams have separated themselves from the rest.

of course everything can change in a game but two lopsided conference finals may make for a spectacular finals.

I turned the game on in the first quarter and turned it off after I saw the Warriors were up 10.
