2015 RCF NFL Mock Draft Rounds 1 and 2 - Patriots

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In case ya'll missed it...

  1. When you pick, post justification in the first round at least. Provide some detail in why you made the pick, post a picture, highlight videos, whatever. Just try to avoid putting a name down and moving on. This thread can be an education on prospects, which is good if you're an NFL fan.
@ajz20
Could you have possibly fucked this up worse than you did? 1st - you took the Browns, which would have been the most popular team in the draft. Then you trade up - nice move, justified. And then you post a damn PICTURE of the pick and that is it?!? I bet you leave the toilet seat up. You probably don't put it down when you shit either.

The best part about your effort is that at least you traded 2 picks for 1, so we don't have to have 2 wasted draft spots. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER.

@Cluegiver killing me right now.. :chuckle: We may not get through 1 round at this rate.

This is why I stopped participating in these. You sit in front of the computer for hours waiting on one guy. So you go to work and stop thinking about it, then as soon as that one domino falls 20 picks fly by and you are the asshole.

Oakland Raiders select Kevin White from West Virginia

"Ya see this, Cluegiver? Ya see this?"

Why a receiver?

Oakland has a lot of holes, but they have one clear strength in grabbing Derek Carr last season. He seemed as pro ready as a college QB could get being older for a drafted player and having an older brother who has been an NFL starter. However, Carr managed to get better and better as the season progressed. But who is he throwing to? James Jones has been a solid complimentary receiver in Green Bay, but in Oakland he proved he can be a starting receiver. But their second best receiver, Andre Holmes, is a free agent who was given a low pick tender. The 6'4 receiver has recently been linked to the Browns. Behind James Jones is a bag of suck. So, all the experts are picking either Cooper or White for this pick.

Why White over Cooper?

"I think there is a strong chance White could be the pick," ESPN Raiders reporter Bill Williamson wrote. "If USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams is gone in the first three picks and the Raiders prefer White over Alabama receiver Amari Cooper, he will likely be wearing the silver and black."

At this point you guys have done the research: He isn't as polished as Cooper, but he is a better athlete with a higher ceiling. His productivity is just a notch below Cooper without the amazing talent that surrounded Cooper at Alabama. As long as the dusty zombie-like cadaver of Al Davis is still running this team - which he certainly is - the pick is White.

Let the mock draft continue. If Cluegiver doesn't like it, I'm the asshole.

@Randolphkeys will you be my Raiders again in the 2nd round? :cheerful:

@Stark don't let me down, you're on the clock.

I can jump in again if needed today, tomorrow I go on vacation and won't be around a computer. Have fun!

We should have presented a big board of like the top 5 or 10 people we want to take so in case someone knows they won't be available, we could just pick from that. That would make things move much faster.

I don't want to bombard Soda though, so if people wanted to do that, they could PM me them or someone else like Keys that isn't in the draft but wants to participate in some way. Just throwin out ideas.

Send all your PMs to Jigo and be sure to include a shit gif so he knows it's real.

With the 5th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select...

Randy Gregory, OLB, Nebraska

The Redskins could really use another QB, but with Winston and Mariota off the board, I shifted my focus to their pass rushing, which could also use some work. He's 9th all time in Nebraska history in sacks, in only two seasons, and was first team All-Big Ten. A 6'5 monster who is a bit raw overall, but has the physical tools to give him a huge ceiling.

I'm not going to cowboy @Amhurstcavsfan because that poor guy was on RCF all morning posting about the Browns, waiting on Cluegiver... and he logged off right before his pick came up.
