We are having one of the worst seasons hitting with bases loaded (and multiple runners on base for that matter) in the history of the game. Smart money says no.

You would have to think if the hitting coach makes it to the end of the season, you consider him lucky and there's no way he'll be back next year.

Every year, the Indians game threads turn into a series of personal atracks. Every year, staff ends up reading the bad habits of the Indians threads leak into other threads and we end up throwing around temp bans in the fall.

Can we agree this type of belittling back and forth isn't needed? Can we do it now, before temp bans follow?

You would have to think if the hitting coach makes it to the end of the season, you consider him lucky and there's no way he'll be back next year.

Should have been gone after the showing we had in June...been calling for both of them to be gone for a while. Nothing good can come from having 2 hitting coaches.

I keep having flashbacks to when I was playing and my dad and my coach telling me two different solutions to the same mechanical issue, and me thinking about which one to do instead of just playing and fucking up more than I usually did.

Plus, their approach at the plate with runners on base is atrocious, and that falls back on what the hitting coaches suggested to them in Spring Training when everyone get's the majority of their work in. That's the thing that people should be optimistic about heading into next year. If you've been watching the games, you'll notice that we still put a lot of runners on base and get a lot of opportunities to drive runners in, just the execution with RISP and runners on base in general has been some of the worst I have ever seen.
