A nice little interactive chart by baseball prospectus showing playoff probability throughout the year. It updates every day and takes into effect several factors. As of today, Indians are at 9% to make the playoffs. That is a higher percentage than CHI, TEX, and DET; all teams who currently have a better record than us. MIN is also at 9%. I am interested to see if it updates after each night or after each game since MIN and TEX play at noon.

Not out of the question with being only 5.5 out. There are a lot of teams ahead of the Indians, however.

This, the Tribe has you all where they want you. The only way they can make the playoffs is if we all just ignore them so they still feel like they have something to prove/win back fan interest.

Typical Cleveland fans... A cornerback makes a few nice plays- 'he's be one of the best corners in the league'... Browns win a couple early games against other bad teams- 'can this team make the playoffs???'... Dion Waiters has a nice stretch whenever Kyrie would get hurt- 'he's ready to join Kyrie once he comes back as a top 3 backcourt!!'... Here is an idea... Just enjoy it when they play well, which they are at the moment. Revel in the Tribe ruining other teams fans night by beating THEIR playoff bound team. But please for the love of God don't put any more assinine expectations on a team running Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindir, Gio Urshela, Abe Almonte, Roberto Perez, Chris Johnson, etc out there. Treat it like a Rubber Ducks game and just enjoy it.
