2015 Series #5 -|- Indians @ White Sox -|- April 20th, 21st, and 22nd.

And for the record, all this second guessing the manager bullshit, or asking for dudes to be called up from A ball. Just, no. The players we have need to start playing. Simple as that.

Edit: Excuse me. *They

Keep acting like it doesn't matter that our biggest rival started 11-2 and we've started 4-8 and have wasted 4 quality starts already. Keep acting like it doesn't matter, because...April. I guess.

It's literally the same thing every year on here. The Indians start off like dog shit, people complain, you and a certain crowd mock everybody that is concerned and say it's April and these games don't matter. And then the Indians end up having an underwhelming year. Same thing almost every. Single. Season.

I'm aware it's April, I've been watching baseball a long time kind of like you. I'm aware you really can't win the division in April, but you damn well can lose it. An old adage that definitely has some accuracy to it. Which is why I think this start is definitely concerning. Keep throwing away quality starts all month long and you'll never sniff the division in September.

Of course it matters, every game matters...and that's a shame.

But saying the Wild Card is the only chance to make the playoffs is moronic. It's really really stupid.

That season they went 18-8 in April and people didn't really buy in anyway was fun too.

It's not like they're going to win over the fanbase anyway, so I don't blame them for not trying.

This isn't a discussion about winning the fan base or attendance, because I don't give a shit about any of those things. I do care about whether the team will win games this year, though.

Sorry you think my prediction is really really stupid and really moronic. I think a lot of the predictions in here are pretty silly and unrealistic, but I don't tell people they're moronic.

The Tigers are a force this year. Kansas City is nearly as good as them and is coming off a World Series berth. The Indians have started like dog shit, as they often do. The Tigers and Royals have come out guns blazing. What a total stretch for me to predict that the Indians will need to make the Wild Card if they want to be in the postseason. What a total, gigantic leap of faith. Especially when the Tigers own the Indians- if they want any shot, they have to beat Detroit head to head, which they have shown they cannot do so until they start doing that I will roll with what I've seen in recent history.

The Royals were three games under .500 on June 1 last year, which should go to show anyone pissing their pants about being 4-8 on April 21st that the season is a marathon.

Because that's exactly what you guys are doing.

Yes, they need to play better. We get it.

Give them a little time to be consistent at losing before you let it stream down your leg, at least.

Are you able to discuss anything with anybody without being a condescending prick? Legitimate question. I usually try to ignore the subtle jabs and digs you shove at people when they talk to you, but goddam is it childish as fuck.

I suppose we'll just throw our happy faces on and talk about how the Kansas City Royals were under .500 in June and made the World Series. When do we have permission to start posting about being concerned, out of curiosity?

By the way, the Royals last year made the playoffs how, again? Oh, right, the Wild Card. The same way I said the Indians will likely have to secure a playoff spot. Just wanted to clear that up.

Just a side note about Ramsey. Saw him last week in Toledo, and he might be one of the worst defenders I've ever seen. I thought Murph had no range, but Ramsey is awful. It was borderline painful seeing him misplay a double and two triples in a single inning. I don't get why people are hot on him.

June.

If only games didn't count until then. Indians would be in the playoffs nearly every year then.

Except the years they started hot in April and did nothing, those years it mattered just as much.

From the guys polluting every thread, matter of factly stating "OH well I guess the playoffs are an afterthought" after 13 Tigers games, I wouldn't be throwing around phrases like "condescending prick" towards anyone.

Nobody is pretending these games don't matter, anyone with a brain knows this isn't the end of the season like you guys are crying about.

If you truly believe that and aren't just doing this bitch-ass whiny cry for attention, then tune out for a while....It will serve your highly emotional feelings good to get away.

When did I say this? I never said the season was over. I never said call up Lindor, or whatever other dumbfuck things people are saying. I said the players they have need to start performing, the manager doesn't play the games for them. I said the Tigers are building a big lead already and that it's likely the Indians will need to achieve a wild card, which will still be extremely tough to do.

You're lumping everybody who isn't sucking Indian cock into one group. Stop it. It's dumb.

I'll wait while you show me where I said all of these things.

Who is doing this, what specifically are they saying.

Give me examples please.

Nice attempt to deflect. Still waiting for you to show me where I said all of those things you claimed I was.

Wait, were you just mixing me up with other people whom were saying things? Yes, that looks to be the case. Please, don't generalize. Thanks.

I'd also like to say you have no room to call people overly emotional. You pull this stunt every single season. You flip out when people rip the Indians, no matter how mildly, and it leads to you attacking people who aren't even saying anything ridiculous at all. If you want to bash people for asking for Lindor to be called up, or for saying the season is over, or whatever the hell, go ahead. Those are pretty insane statements. Don't throw a fit just because I said the Indians are digging a hole and it's likely they will have to try to earn a Wild Card spot.

Boobie Dibiasio at his finest. The RCF Indians mouthpiece. Never concerned, never worried.

matter of factly stating "OH well I guess the playoffs are an afterthought" after 13 Tigers games,

When was this shit said? I'm legitimately curious.

The fact of the matter? I didn't. You saw me showing some concern over the Indians' play, and flew into your usual schtick and lumped me in with whoever the hell else you are bitching at. Again, you have literally no room to accuse people of being "emotional." You're like a bitch on the rag in these Indians threads. You have a problem with people ripping the Dolans? You'd make a much stronger statement by putting them on ignore. You have a problem with people saying the season is over in April? You'd be better off putting them on ignore.

Then, you wouldn't be a hypocrite. Love your sports mind. Hate the way you post. Sometimes, anyways.
