2015 Series #5 -|- Indians @ White Sox -|- April 20th, 21st, and 22nd.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have never had a problem with valid criticism.

Take a look through the game threads and some normally reasonable posters and tell me that is what constitutes "valid." The Dolan thing has become so overused and terribly thought out that it's probably not the best example to use. I do find it interesting that I've been the biggest "homer" and yada yada yada...while picking the Indians to finish 3rd in each of the two previous years.

But I digress...

Real Deal has been a one-man-band of retard by himself, in that cunty crybaby repetitiveness that makes Cleveland.com look reasonable.

You may not be personally claiming the season to be over, but saying the Tigers were 1/9th of the way there is a retarded point and there's no getting around that, while also playing into that line of thinking that the division title (for anyone, much less Cleveland) is out of reach.

It's not even remotely valid criticism, furthered by the fact you're bringing up the Royals, who less than a year ago were three games below .500 in June before getting to the World Series.

Some of the people on here take "frustration" to a level of retard so complex and brutal to read that it's embarrassing for me and others as fans of the team.

Not even disagreeing with the first part. I'm not getting into that because I don't want to shit on people.

Second point: I don't think it was "retarded" at all. You're welcome to disagree, but the fact is when you build a lead to start the year on your rivals, you're much more likely to maintain it especially when the Tigers are already a great team; nobody denies that. I never implied there was zero chance the indians could win the division, this is just you making shit up once again and that is my main problem with you right now. I said it's "very, very likely" they will need to target a Wild Card berth. I specifically use my words so as not to fall into your little traps, but it looks like it didn't help me.

The Royals made the postseason with a Wild Card berth last year. Fact. Which is how I said the Indians "very very likely" would have to do it this year, in my opinion.

Anything else? Don't take your anger at others out on me. It's a bad look.

Seriously; the Tigers could have injuries and collapse. The Indians could suddenly become blistering hot and beat the Tigers the next 6 times they play them, totally making everything right now irrelevant. Are either of these things likely to happen? No, because they are extremes. What is quite likely is the Tigers will come down to earth a little bit, the Indians will play a little bit better, and a happy medium will be found.

Unfortunately, prior to that medium, the Tigers were almost 7 games ahead of the Indians. That is my point. I never thought the Indians could or would win the division this year as much as I want them to, and I'm sure you thought the exact opposite, so maybe that is skewing this. But I don't think it's "retarded" to have this viewpoint at all.

I wouldn't confuse my ranting about the terrible posters on here with anger.

In fact I've stayed mostly out these game threads specifically because of the level of idiocy.

That's something which is a real shame, because I know there are others that feel the same way and it lessens what this board could be...and more importantly, should be.

Anger, angst, frustration, solemn disagreement...whatever it is. That wasn't the point.

I don't see you in the Cavs forum much. Have you ever looked in the game threads there? Game threads are what they are. Go to any team's website, you'll find the same damn thing. We choose to talk sports on the Interwebz. We have to deal with it.

Maybe we should of been positive after 8 shutout innings, 7 hits, a walk, which resulted in 4 runs to blow the 9th, by god if we post anything negative its labeled idiocy or even better, crying.

Now this guy is throwing a insult around.

Pretty much described the reason I don't go in there.

Given the intelligence level of some of the people over here who are also interested in the Indians, I'd expect better.

Shame it's trending the other way thanks to a few overly-emotional people, and Jigo...of course.

Indians in 6 over Washington

Speaking of dragging the board down...

Its like you guys don't understand that games at the end of the year are of higher leverage than games in April.

Yes, nominally, a win in April is the same as a win in September. However, games from April thru July establish your relative position, and games in the fall are the high leverage situations where the proverbial chips are on the table.

"you can't win a title in the beginning of the season, but you can lose it"

Getting swept by a division foe is terrible in April or September.

Yes, as I stated.
