Shit, they grilled him so badly over that pick because they chose Ginn over Brady Quinn.
If Ireland was the man behind that pick, I'd imagine he got the last laugh.
Yeah, he might have reached on Ginn, but look at how Miami assembled their skill position players: Landry was a 2nd rounder, he drafted Rishard Matthews in the 7th. Tannehill isn't perfect, but he is a starter drafted in the mid 1st, good value. Ireland also found Hartline and Charles Clay on Day 3 picks. The history is there with Ireland, and as a backup plan to some hotter young names the Browns could do worse.
