Tomorrow scares me, fellas. A vet like McCown should fare well like the last game vs BAL, and O'Neil had that bye week to construct a game plan that might actually resemble an NFL offense. While my inner fan boy wants to beat that Raven ass, I can't help but think about the tank ramifications.

No way we beat Cincy next week; although I can't see San Fran making a cross country trip, and beating the Browns. Even though Oakland did the same thing in late September. After that, I will be coasting along the tank.

Best case for my fanboyism and the tank? Beat Baltimore, and fucking go up in a conflagration of losses to finish out the year.

What about lose to Baltimore tomorrow, and then beat them the next 10 years?

This might be McCown's career-best statistical year as a passer, but it has still been a season that proves he is a career backup hitting the end of the road. He leads the league in fumbles, despite yielding 11 quarters to Johnny Swan Rape. He averages roughly three sacks per game despite playing behind a highly regarded line. McCown isn't the General Patton of tanking I hoped we would have in Manziel, but he brings almost two decades of tank-level production to the table.

I know the Ravens are missing Flacco/Forsett/everyone else. Some of you are talking like this is a lock for the Browns.

You do remember.....this is the Browns. I wouldn't be surprised if we won or if we got blown out by 30.

If we win, great. We finally get a win and only move down to 3rd. Which we would STILL get Goff/Lynch.

We have the 49ers coming up. And if recent history shows us anything, statements like this (we would still get Goff/Lynch) never quite end up working out so well for us.

All it takes is a win against SF and we're anywhere from 4th to the back end of the top 10. And God forbid Goff stays in school...

Losing tonight would be monumentally great. Winning would/will be an awful setback to the tank.

This is the most nervous I've been for a game all year... right now we still have a 1 W safety net that could let us beat SF and still end up with a great pick. If we win tonight though, we need to lose out or we're just asking to see teams trade over us for a QB.

I swear, for all the unwanted losses this organization has given us over the years, you'd think they could lose when it counts most.

I know our D, playcalling, lack of run game, etc are all a huge part of the tank, but we can't take any chances here. We need to promote Austin Davis to general ASAP..
