Maybe to start the year, but once games are played Bauer has to show some consistency to keep his rotation spot.

I don't think its so cut and dry... If Clevinger looks the part in spring training and doesn't get the call up, I can see Tomlin getting moved to long relief.

Still missing the point...the opening day starting rotation is put in place...means there will be no 5th starter competition during the Spring, which is what I was talking about...Chernoff came out and said the opening rotation is put in place today following Tomlin's extension...only thing that changes things is an injury.
