I plan on it. You think he's going to declare? I think the QB crop is weak enough that he might.

I've actually seen him play in person once (used to work at UCF) back in 2013 and he was really good in that game despite some middling numbers. And that was as a clueless freshman who didn't know how to do anything.

With nobody stepping up outside of Goff, I think it would be a pretty wise move for him to consider it.

I've sadly have not watched Goff yet, I'll make it a priority this Saturday. A lot of buzz around him.

I need to see more of Lynch, but as of now I wouldn't pick anyone but Goff or Cook in the first round.

I hate to say this because I want to like him, but Cardale's NFL prospects would be better suited on another team in another offense. As of right now, he's a late 2nd/early 3rd round developmental player.

I know the issues at Penn State aren't entirely Christian Hackenberg's fault, but I can't fathom picking him high right now. He's literally regressed in every single statistical measure across the board from year 1 to 3. I know he's got some talent, but I'm starting to wonder if he's damaged goods mentally already.

My personal opinion but the worst place for him would be back here in Cleveland. I think for his own personal growth he has to end up as far away as possible from this city and this org. Just my personal view, though.

Yeah, gotta go Goff/Cook/hate to say it but Hackenberg. Haven't seen Lynch much, will take a look at him.

If we happen to not get a QB next year that we like or somehow Manziel flourishes, any news on Kaaya @AZ_ in a couple years draft? Like him? Hate him? Need to see more?

I don't even want to entertain not selecting a QB. It hurts my brain. And more importantly, my soul.

Not a huge fan of Kaaya, but he's still so young. Lots of improvement in there, just not sure Al Golden and company are the right environment to develop it.

In terms of guys to keep an eye on next year, Joshua Dobbs with Tennessee certainly has a chance. He's pretty raw as well. DeShaun Watson is a guy I like alot, but again so much development ahead (tore his ACL last year too, which sucked).

Gunner Kiel at Cincy (meh), Chad Kelly (OleMiss), Mitch Leidner (Minny), Seth Russell (Baylor)

I'd be surprised if they didn't draft a QB, regardless of what occurs this season.

Paxton Lynch being all impressive and stuff.

Run, pass. Still raw, but man he'd look great as the future here.
