Woj just said on ESPN that Celtics don't want to include Tatum and the Cavs have been pushing for it.

If that's true we better at least get Jalen Brown.

Once again, stats don't tell the story. And you have to consider their roles on their teams. Anyhow, no stats will change my mind that comparing them to being "close" is asinine. Kyrie may be bad at defense but IT makes Harden look like a 1st team defender.

When the crux of your entire argument is to keep saying stats don't tell the entire story, then it means stats do tell the story and you don't have an argument to begin with.

"No, no no... please ignore all the analytical evidence. It hurts my case!"

I'd take him, but I'd rather have their best picks.

OR, Kyrie ONLY scored .2 less than the a main offensive threat despite being surrounded by 2 all-stars who averaged 20 ppg or more.

It truly takes a "special" person to make an argument for Isaiah "Quit because I'm shook" Thomas over Kyrie Irving.

Your post is completely and utterly void of logic. Kyrie is surrounded by all-stars and yet he is less efficient despite teams not being able to defend him the way teams can defnd Thomas? That makes no sense.

Guys who have talent around them should be able to be MORE efficient. Not the other way around.

Also, I'm not saying I would take Thomas straight up over Kyrie. But it does take a special person to argue the two aren't close if you actually bother looking at the statistical analysis.

The 2018 draft is loaded. I would love to have a top five pick in next years draft.

Can not confirm but someone said this could have a LeBron like draft year with star potential. I am not saying another LeBron is coming out of it just the draft year as a whole.

Yet Kyrie put up more shots per game?!

Sorry but you really are shooting yourself in the foot in this Post
IT was more effective while other Teams could focus on him.. Kyrie had Lebron and Love to work off from.

They are closer than most here want to admit.. IT is overall worse because he is smaller and older.. but just in terms of offense its suprisingly close. Cant totally ignore every stat.

I'm really confused, a move like Irving for IT and Crowder , doesn't really make us better against GS , and doesn't give us good young players to rebuild after Lebron potentially leaves. IDK I'd rather have Bledsoe + Chriss/ Bender + Warren.

The crux of the story is an obvious one. If they were so close, our rival wouldn't be including 2 players and at least 1 first rounder. Maybe more... Yea, Boston thinks so highly of him too.

Yeah, it's so good, becuase a few high school players moved from the 2018 class to the 2017 class.

I'm getting all stressed the F out(not real stress), thinking about trading irving without getting taytum or brown back. Please no

Well that's not be the deal...Zizic has already been menioned to be involved

I hate that trading Kyrie is even happening. Just so stupid and unless we're getting Tatum and a pick it won't be fair value. Say what you want but he's a 25 yr old super star with the ability that only a few players in the NBA have of being able to
Close games. Not many others I'd want taking the final shot than him

The advanced stats for Kyrie have never ever been pretty.

The Cavs have one mega superstar in Lebron James. The advanced stats say that Lebron is the sun and the moon and the stars for the Cavs.

They say that Kyrie gets a massive boost when Lebron is on the floor. Kyrie goes from a marginal all star to a superstar.

If the Cavs get Jae Crowder, a first round pick and IT then I am through the roof.

Crowder helps us SO SO SO SO SO much against the Warriors.

I am all for this deal.

We arent beating the Durant lead Warriors with Kyrie.
