2023-24 Season | Game #4 | Knicks @ Cavs | Oct. 31, 2023 | 7:30 TNT

Are people really surprised by this?

This was all stuff that was going to happen and HAD to happen…

Roll out the barrel!
We'll have a barrel of fun!
Roll out the barrel!
We've got the blues on the run!

He should be working on the jumper inside the arc like KG though. He needs to be able to just shoot over people with his size.

Ideally yes but he doesn’t seem to be able to shoot. It’s baffling because he’s not a bad foul shooter

Mobley looked like complete ass. WTF was he doing all summer, he has added nothing to his game. PS our medical staff is terrible, why are all these dudes injured.

This has been frustrating as fuck to say the least, is there any timetable for DG and Allen?
Don’t want to risk long term injuries let’s hold them out another 2 weeks . By the time they get back I’m sure 3 other guys will be sitting out with minor injuries …. I’m joking but not really lol

Did anyone think we were winning this game without DG, Allen, Vert & Jerome? We either needed Mitchell to go superhero or our role players to have an incredible game (or both). Neither happened and we lost just like this lineup should lose to a healthy Knicks team. I have no idea how we have so many hamstring injuries this early in the year, but we are a lottery team talent-wise with who we’ve been trotting out there. Bottom line is we are going to struggle as long as we are missing this many key pieces.

No joke, Okoro was massaging his hamstring at a few points. I feel like there may actually be something they’re doing training/stretching wise that’s contributing.

Wait your saying most teams don’t have 4 to 5 guys hurt missing multiple games one week into the season? I thought this was normal …..

As far as Mobley is concerned, yes disappointing, but it’s still early for him. Not pushing panic button on him just yet.
IMO, Mobley is still on track for turning into an all-star caliber player. If you look at players like Garnet and Giannis, they didn't start averaging 20ppg until their 4th year, and right now, Mobley is treading in that direction.

I'm not giving up either. Spring time in year 3 is when we have seem growth out of Kobys picks (okoro being the exception). If he's next to Allen and getting opportunities within the offense, he will be fine.

I think everyone needs to remember this kid isn't getting 20 shots as a #1 option every night. He's getting 12 as a third option (4th in many cases). That definitely effects growth. At least his defense is top tier and allows time for offense to come. Downside is the confidence to show the work that's been done isn't there. I thought his moves looked aggressive and confident against Indy. Not the case tonight.

If you try and get him 20 shotw, you'll have nearly 55 of around 82 FGA between our mid 3. If we can get the pace up and get FTAs up, it'll be a lot easier to see our path to offensive success.

Why do they keep pretending that Wade is a rotation player? He's not. Give it up already.

Mobley should be shooting hundreds of mid range jumpers a day. Forget the 3 point shot. He needs to be able to pick and pop from the elbow. He's too weak to be a finisher in the paint. I'm tired of the drives where he just gets stonewalled and then slops something up.

Porter was about the only bright spot. He looked like he could give some minutes on a team that desperately needs capable ball handlers.

0-3 at home is less than ideal. We are very lucky we aren't 0-4 in general. Some of these dudes need to get on the floor before we are looking at an extended losing streak with this road trip looming.
