I also agree that a Week 5 bye is terrible. 12 consecutive weeks & games with no breaks is pretty brutal. Especially because our Thursday night game, which can usually serve as a mini-bye, doesn't happen until Week 17.

The middle of the season has easier opponents, but that's offset by the fact that from Weeks 7 through 13, 5 games are on the road and only 2 games are at home.

We better hope there's no significant injuries and we don't go into the end of season limping, since that schedule is relentless.

I’m not too crazy about SOS talk at this point. There are going to be playoff teams that are trash and a couple teams that had losing records that become good. Not sure where that fallla yet, but I feel this roster is talented enough to be competitive enough against anyone except NE. Just because.

The first game requires the Browns to play a team that has cohesion from last year, but it's our home opener. I think we can squeeze that one out.

The second game is against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on a Monday night, I definitely think the Browns should win but it will be draining.

Then the Browns play a very good coach on a short week. Feels like a trap if we start out 2-0.
