But................

They are going to be bad next year now no matter what. They can't coach or GM their way out of a bad season with bad contracts. So if they know they're going to be bad they can either suck or suck and get picks and move contracts.

Steve Keim is not going to roll over and hand a good spot to another person. Neither is Kliff.

If Michael Bidwell wants a rebuild, it’s not going to be with Keim and Kliff.

The org, currently, is very similar to the Browns post-Butch and pre-Haslam. Treadmill of nope.

They can get a far better deal for Hopkins than what the Browns have to offer.

Its a pipe dream not rooted in any reality whatsoever.

With Kyler out for a year, thats gotta mean Sean Payton crosses the Cardinals off his list, right? The Cardinals may be stuck with Keim and Kliff if no one bigger/better is available...

DAL can get a far better deal for Cooper than CLE........

HOU can get a far better deal for DW4....................

Not sure I'd want to give up anything for Hopkins. Once receivers hit 30, they're basically possession receivers. DPJ will be putting up 2019 Hopkins numbers next season with Watson throwing. We need a burner or a Will Fuller type.

- New DC and ST Coordinators

- The restructures will happen for sure. Especially DW4.

- DaRon Payne would be a huge get or trade for DeForest Buckner. Still draft a DT with one of our first 2 picks.

- WR, trade for Hopkins and draft a WR. Maybe add another speedy WR in FA.

- S, Let the new DC decide if he can work with JJ3 and Delpit. If not then try to get Antoine Winfield Jr. Jesse Bates is a pipe dream but I would look into it. Would also weaken a division rival.

- EDGE depth, JJ Watt as a rotational piece. I think they like Thomas and Wright but I would draft another EDGE.

- I would not be upset if we ran the line back with Wills/Bitonio/Pocic/Teller/Conklin

This underestimates Hopkins and overestimates DPJ. Nuke was a 1st team All pro in 2019. DPJ is good but he ain't there yet.

Also adding Hopkins would probably be an exception to whatever trend of WR after 30 since he's not your average WR and he'd be playing with DW4 again.

I won't say DPJ will ever be near as good as prime Hopkins (who is?), but he has all the tools to be a great receiver. He's only 23.

It will be with less receptions than Hopkins, but DPJ can put up 1165 yards and 7 TDs with Watson like Hopkins did.

Can someone do a comp on DPJ to Will Fuller as far as combine testing and SPARQ goes?

I wanna see sum. I think DPJ can play in the slot but we should definitely add another speedy guy. Schwartz might be done and not just here but with football completely.

Woods and Bell will still continue to develop and I suspect that they had a few ideas for Jakeem Grant on offense as well so having him back should be a speed boost.

Cooper
Nuke
DPJ

That's a nice trio of WR. I would put them on par or even better than CIN with Chase, Higgins, and Boyd.

I don't disagree that he can put up those numbers with DW4 but if he is putting up those numbers I'll question what the rest of the offense looks like. DPJ is a good #2 right now but in teh right situation he should be a high quality #3 like Tyler Boyd is in CIN.

If I remember correctly DPJ tested out really good. I don't see how he couldn't be a very good #3 playing in between Cooper and Nuke.

I agree we could really use a fast slot guy, like Rondale Moore. Not suggesting we trade for him specifically, just that kind of player. Think that type of player underneath would open up a lot.
