Coverage kicks off at 8 p.m. tonight across various networks (NFL Network, ESPN and ABC). No picks for the Browns on Day 1 but I figured this section made more sense for discussion since it seems to get more traffic than Around the NFL.

Bryce Young appears to be the consensus choice to go first overall to Carolina. Not a lot of consensus after that, especially at pick two with Houston. A lot of different directions they could go which will shake things up down the board. Should be an interesting evening.

I think Carolina takes Bryce at #1.

I think Houston passes on a QB and takes Will Anderson at #2

I think Arizona trades out of 3 to a QB-needy team that wants to jump Indy... and I wouldn't be surprised if that team takes Richardson over Stroud (Minnesota maybe?)

I think the Colts take Stroud if he's on the board. If Stroud is gone, I'm not sure they take Richardson over Levis.

Seattle would be thrilled to get Jalen Carter, the best player in the draft, assuming his "third third' checks out. If Carter's "third third" is more problematic, then I expect Tyree Wilson.

Detroit replaces the gaping hole at corner with Witherspoon or Gonzalez (I prefer Gonzalez, but I think they take Witherspoon). I wouldn't be surprised by either Jalen Carter or Tyree Wilson at this pick or any future pick as long as they're on the board.

The Raiders should just take a tackle but who knows. That organization is a dumpster fire. A good GM might actually trade down and start building that roster back up. Any of Gonzalez/Witherspoon, Jalen/Tyree, Paris/Skoronski all seem to make a lot of sense.

Bryce Young is my QB1. I don't have a first round grade on another QB. I know people like to shit on Will Levis, and so do I... but I wouldn't be shocked if he turned out to be a good QB in the NFL.

JSN is my WR1. I'm not sure another receiver goes in the first round. Zay Flowers is my WR2. Some team might fall in love with Quentin Johnson's YAC ability, and he is exceptional once he catches the ball--but he's too bad of a receiver for me to take in the first. Jordan Addison is a nice player as well but I expect him to go near the top of the second round.

I think Pittsburgh trades up for a left tackle. I think Paris Johnson is the first tackle off the board.

I have Gonzalez over Witherspoon for the best CB in the class. I think Gonzalez is an elite outside corner. But, if you're looking for a corner who can be lockdown on the outside while also playing inside, that's Witherspoon.

It will be interesting to see how the tight ends shake out. I think all of Kincaid, Mayer, Musgrave, Washington and LaPorta will be gone in the first two rounds--but teams might hold off taking the first one until that run starts. Even though he might not be the best tight end, Darnell Washington might be the first tight end selected because if you want him, there's nobody else like him. If you want a pass catcher, there's a bunch. If you want that sixth offensive lineman, there aren't similar players to Darnell Washington.

Carolina is taking Bryce Young 1st overall, and I'd probably be inclined to agree.

He's my QB1 also.

The #2 pick is high drama for sure. I think it's going to be Will Levis if they stay, if not I don't think it will be a QB or it will end in a trade.

Detroit and Vegas should be in that mix.

All that Will Levis #2 talk came absolutely out of nowhere.

I don't believe it. It doesn't make any sense and hasn't been corroborated by anyone outside of the typical "someone mentioned this rumor so I'm gonna repeat it" crowd.

So... that means it's probably going to happen

Sleeper pick to go in the first round....

Cory Trice.

He went 107 in our mock. I'd place money on him going in the top 60 picks.

Congrats @Snowblind for being ahead of the curve in our mock.

This class is absolutely LOADED at edge, and looks pretty shallow at OT.

I think, counterintuitively, that means more tackles will go in the first round--because if you want one, you have to take him high.

Paris Johnson
Peter Skoronski
Broderick Jones
Darnell Wright
Anton Harrison
Dawand Jones

I think those six are going tonight.

If someone told me a team at the back end of the first took Bergeron, I wouldn't be shocked.

I also think Blake Freeland gets drafted too high because of his athleticism. I'm still convinced he'll never be able to handle NFL bull rushes.

I think only 5 edge players go tonight.

Anderson, Tyree, LVN, Myles Murphy and Nolan Smith.

Although, it wouldn't surprise me to see Will McDonald or FAU sneak into the back of the first.

Position where I'm the most out there compared to consensus?

I think Tank Dell is my WR3--behind only JSN and Flowers. Ahead of Quentin Johnson and Jordan Addison.

Now, if you need a bigger body who can catch and run, then Quentin Johnson is going to be your #1 option with a bullet... but I just don't think Tank Dell can be covered. I think he's significantly closer to DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle than people realize.

1. Bryce Young
2. Will Anderson
3. CJ Steoud
4. Will Levis (to Indy or out of top 10)
5. Jalen Carter

Anthony Richardson hype is all that, he goes outside the top 15, maybe even the Ravens.
Bijan Robinson in the 20s
Hooker goes in RD1

Unwrapped:

I always love stock footage breakdowns like this. The car chase in Bullet was my favorite until this one. Outstanding.

I really liked what I saw of Bryce Young when I watched Alabama and would take him #1... but I'd be simultaneously terrified of his size if I were a Panthers fan
