Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Which position do the Browns take with their first pick on Day 2?

Steelers are gonna end up with Joey Porter Jr arent they?

Too bad he can’t throw the ball

Who should we be looking at tonight

Day 2 kicks off at 7 p.m. Browns have picks 74 and 98 in the third round.

Best players available on day 2, per NFL.com - https://www.nfl.com/news/best-prospects-available-in-the-2023-nfl-draft
Havent watched a single UNC game this year. Looked at a spreadsheet on a different page in here that showed Josh Downs had great % of catches against man coverage and contested balls.

The sum total of my knowledge, sitting in a recliner, knowing nothing.

My inane prediction. If he is available at 74, the Browns take him.

Will Levis' girlfriend.
How funny would it be if when the broadcast resumes, Levis and his GF are still sitting there as if they never left? Wearing same clothes, looking exhausted and disheveled? And wtf was Will Levis invited in the first place? I'm not seeing the hype around him, I have to wonder if all of the helium surrounding him wasn't a reddit campaign similar to those Game Stop guys, like they decided to take a mediocre white guy QB prospect and send him to the moon.

The responses are immaculate

My two concerns with Downs:

1. He's probably never going to be much more than a slot at his size (5-foot-10, 175 pounds), with only 81 routes on the outside in his career. In an ideal receiver group, you can move people around and hunt mismatches.

2. His status as a one trick pony will require a lot of run after the catch routes, and I wonder if his body can take the punishment.

Downs will be gone before 74.

I'm fairly certain the Browns won't draft him even if he's on the board.

Look to the defensive line... I hope. DT at 74 could be Ika, Ojomo or Dexter. DE could be a ton of names depending on who's left. Isiah McGuire is a realistic pick.

So it appears half of the NFL starting QBs are now Persons of Color. Is this the inflection point for the white QB like the white running back 40 years ago?

I do believe the Browns are in a position to take a lighter, hybrid defensive end moreso under Schwartz than previously with Woods. Wright didn't show much pass rush as a rookie, but he has tools to be the Clowney type of run stuffing end with size. The wider alignments could lead to the Browns selecting the Genard Avery type ends who just bend and use speed again. Herbig has no role for a Woods defense, but he could be a wide nine weapon now, for instance.
