A closer look at Bradley Beal

I want this kid in Wine and Gold.

Klay Thompson and Evan Turner both have wingspans of 6'8" and neither of them has struggled because of their size.

Avery Bradley was a great defender for Boston this year and he's 6'3.25" with a 6'7.25" wingspan

Style of play matters much more than the difference between 6'4" with a 6'8" wingspan and 6'5" with a 6'11" wingspan.

That Evan Turner comparison is not helping Beals case.

It seems like the Cavs don't want Beal at all, which I simply don't understand...

Of all the top 6 prospect in this draft, he is the most polished. He is good at pretty much everything and excels at shooting the ball. He is slightly undersized, but then again, who is he gonna have to guard in the NBA as a SG? Old Kobe? Old Wade? Twin brother Eric Gordon? The only dude that would scare me is Paul George, but he isn't there yet offensively. This current SG crop sucks major ass and we could get one that is potentially top 3!

To me, Beal is the perfect backcourt complement to Kyrie. They would probably become the best backcourt in the whole NBA in 2/3 years. I really hope this is all smokescreen and that the Cavs are trying to keep the Wizards from drafting Beal, because he is John Wall are gonna be scary... I am convinced this dude is future all star, maybe the only one with davis in this class...

Please draft this dude!

they must know ross and lamb are gonna players similar to beal and have liked barnes alot
lamb/barns > beal+24

lamb has become so underrated it is sickening. that guy can put the ball in the hoop and defend with the best of them. he is compared to kevin martin with defense that is a great player

draftexpress:
With that said, Lamb was still a very efficient scorer inside the arc as a sophomore, able to use an array of floaters and smoothly pull up in mid-range, making things look easy at times. His 60% on 2-pointers this season was actually the highest of any shooting guard in our top 100.

As we've mentioned before, in addition to his talents off the dribble, Lamb is also an outstanding jump shooter. He has range well past the NBA 3-point line and can shoot the ball with his feet set, off the dribble, or running off screens. He's shown nice footwork coming off curls and does an excellent job creating space, squaring himself, and elevating to get off his jumper.

Elaborate.
Well, we've been hearing rumors about them wanting : MKG, Barnes, Drummond, Lamb, even Rivers! Nothing about Beal...

Maybe it's part of a plan? But if you are gonna go around saying you draft everybody, why not include Beal? He is obviously someone that has to be considered at 4. Unfortunately, the Wiz are going away with him and I don't know if I wanna give up 24 just to ensure I get Beal... Lamb and Ross aren't that far behind him in terms of ceilings. Lamb has a much higher bust factor, while Ross doesn't look as ready.

I am not a big Beal fan. I dont see him as a sure fire prospect at all. Slightly undersized, not an uber athlete, not a dead eye shooter. He seems to be a jack of all trades master of none type player. I think there will be a player at the 4 that has part of his game that is superior. Whether its Drummond's athletic gifts and defensive presence, MKG's high motor, athletic ability and rebounding, Barnes shooting, t-rob's rebounding and motor.

Just my opinion, but I see several other sg's just as good. Ross, Lamb, come to mind.

So I was reading about how Beal's girlfriend is a national champion gymnast... and my initial response was... "Good for him."

Upon further review.... fucking woof.

Despite the ugly girlfriend, I want him on the Cavs along with Harkless.

Meh...probably looks 100 times better when her hair isn't almost being pulled out of her scalp.

Definitely. I wouldn't call her ugly... Not "hot", but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't fuck her.
