The biggest, and probably only area of need for the Cavaliers is at the 2 BIG positions. Big Ben is injured (even if the Cavaliers aren't talking about it), and they need to get a deal done for another big or two. I came-up with a few ideas that may be explored (maybe within the first month of the season). Here goes:

Nick Collison (OKC) for Eric Snow or
Nick & Johan Petro for Eric Snow.

Sasha Pavlovic for Jeff Foster (IND)

Kenyon Martin (Den) for Ben Wallace or
Kenyon & Nene for Ben Wallace, Eric Snow & Darnell Jackson

Ben Wallace, Eric Snow, Sasha Pavlovic for
Antoine Walker, Javaris Crittenton, Darko Milicic (MEM)
or
Eric Snow for Darko

Sasha Pavlovic for Mikki Moore (SAC)

Eric Snow, Darnell Jackson for Joel Przybilla, Channing Frye (POR)

I can see how you get your trade ideas

1.)Get some darts
2.)Get some NBA players names one side for cavs the other for the rest of the NBA
3.)Throw darts at each side, Whatever matches is whatever you post

i like number 4. Kenyon and NEne for wallace, snow, and jackson

Sometimes? :chuckles: Try EVERY time!

Seriously....

OKC: They want to get rid of Collison or Wilcox. Wilcox seems like the better bet to be traded, but don't count on it... they actually like him...and with good reason - he has massive potential.

Sasha for Jeff Foster... This is a dump for Indiana, plus it adds what their coach likes, a tall guard who can shoot the 3. Jeff Foster is 30 years old, and Indiana is looking toward the future, they are not in "win now" mode. Sasha is only guaranteed 1 million next year... Jeff ? 7 million. Add to that the fact that Jeff is not going to get the playing tim he used to get... and this trade makes sense.

Kenyon & Nene... I don't really "Like" these deals, but two bigs for one would help solidify our front-court big-time. Yeah, they have injury histories, but Ben has a LINGERING injury and he is WAY past old!!! This would be a dump for Denver, allowing them to do a quick re-build, in 1 year. We'd have Z,Kenyon,Nene,AV,JJ,&Jackson for depth at the BIGS. 2 of them are rookies, the other 4 are either former all-stars or have the potential to be. Not to mention, Kenyon can dominate at times...and if he is coming off our bench.... eww that would be ugly for the other team.

Eric for Darko... this is a dump for Memphis (we'd prolly get a 2nd rounder too), for a player who wont get a whole-lot of court-time.

Mikki Moore for Snow - Sacramento tried to trade him all summer.

Jackson & Snow for Joel & Channing - Problem with this trade is that Portland wants to dump some bodies...they have too many. They may insist on the Cavs taking someone else too... Martell?

Mikki Moore is my least favorite basketball player next to kobe...

Eric Snow is at least nice, Mikki Moore punches people and asks the refs "That's not a foul?!"

Although I do like the K-Mart trade...

Sometimes he does it blindfolded

And sometimes when Heath is bold he does it upside down while going through a ring of fire...

:chuckles:

Collison, Foster, and Darko would all be solid additions to our team. All three can play center. I am not sure Collison is available, but would be a solid addition. He is only 28, and should be a contributer for 4 or 5 more years. Darko could be the answer at center after Z retires. He is still young (almost a full year younger than Lebron), and could end up being a 10/9 and 2 blocks a game guy. If JJ develops, that could be what we need from our center. Foster would be a great for depth, but nothing more. He is 31, and has limmited game.

I am not sure how tradeable snow is. He saves the team a ton of money. I am thinking Sasha could be a more likely traded asset. We could package Lorenzen Write with him for example to get Collison, Maybe if they view Darko as a long term possibility for Z, they would be willing to trade snow for him. But I am sure Memphis would want a draft pick on top. Dark is not worthless and expires in 2 years. He is making 7 million, which is not a redicoulous contract.

I still think Mike Redd is probably the most realistic option around December, January or February.

I hate makin up trades cause they hardly ever happen but...

Wally, Sasha, Darnell Jackson and a first round pick for Mike Redd and Gadzuric in January when Milwaukee have won 3 games.

Are you serious? You wouldn't do Snow, Sasha, and Ben for Walker, Crittenton and Darko?

Walker is expiring, Crittenton is a nice young player, and Darko is a good, young backup center. There's no reason for Memphis to do this trade, not for us to decline it.

But yeah, the other ideas are pretty bad.

Im still holding out for some type of deal for Martell Webster. Trade eric snow(expiring) for webster and frye.

I'd love to get Darko because he seems like a guy that could be Z's log term replacement. But if we had to give up a draft pick I think i'd reconsider it especially if we3 are sending away Snow's huge expiring (only huge to us).

Wouldnt mind darko he needs a good coach and a team leader. weve got both. Id only want him if he came cheap though. last resort.

Is Michael Redd really a realistic possibility for the Cavs? I mean still?? Also after the Mo Williams acquisition? Didn't they have bad chemistry, or was that just a rumor?

Darko is ass.

The Nene and KMart trade makes no sense. It screws up the cap space. Your telling me in 2010 you'd rather have those 2 instead of a Bosh, Wade, Amare, Chandler etc etc.
