Addressing the hole at center

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's funny since we could have asked for Dieng in the Wiggins, Bennet - Love trade.
He has a real talent.

How do you know the Cavs didn't ask? How do you know Minnesota would've entertained that possibility whatsoever?

What's looking ugly @ Deng trade? what part?

Cavs gave up the Sacramento 1st and the rights for Chicago to swap with our 1st this year. I believe a 2nd round pick as well.

I think he was looking at the Loul Deng trade not the hypothetical Gorgui Dieng trade.

I thought Tristan did a pretty good job on Davis last night. I think I would have liked to see Kirk on Asik. Kirk has looked decent defensively and he can hit a little jumpshot. I think we need to find out sooner rather than later if Kirk can actually hang with some of these bigger centers. Haywood is too slow. He is only for plodders I think.

I'd like to see Blatt bring Kirk in to hammer some guys when we need the size.

So Bynum + 3 draft picks for luol deng that eventually signed with another team ?
That's rough

Only the Sac 1st has real value. It hurt, but who knows if this is even the year we get the sac 1st 2nds can be bought if wanted, and the swap will be at most 2 or 3 spots if any at all.

Still :(

I am not fretting any of it. Without the circumstances that let us end the season in 9th place, we don't get the first pick in the draft. Which might very well have resulted in us not getting Kevin Love. Nothing is served by looking back. Enjoy what we have and stop dwelling on the past.

That's right. One cannot simply change one thing about the past without there being a butterfly (ripple) effect on other events in the past.

Anyone think we might be able to swipe John Henson? He barely plays for the Bucks, but has put up solid block numbers.

I have no idea what they would want for him, but he's clearly surplus goods.

To outside observes waiters for Henson is the popular cavs bucks trade idea of sanders isn't moved

Would we really have to pay that much for him though? I'd want to get something more for him if we are giving up Waiters.

Henson is a good young shot blocker, just needs to bulk up. Good team player and developing offensive game. Not sure if Milwaukee wants Waiters though, I would think they would want more for him. They are pretty high on this kid.

How are we gonna even get a decent center?
we don't have the assets to trade.. Im not into trading Waiters just yet,
this year is a decider for him and for the club

I think they still have to do center by committee. I doubt we get one for the tpe, so we have to give something up or more likely wait to use Haywood contract on a gut that is good but overpriced along with the Memphis pick.

We haven't really used Haywood. They tried him against Lopez, but that was a failure because Lopez was too quick. Maybe he will still be useful.

I am trying to not care about not drafting a center because we would have just traded him to get LeBron like we did Zeller or to get rid of Jack. However you want to look at it.
