Addressing the hole at center

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What would it realistically take to sign Deandre Jordan next year? and is he really worth it? the problem with the center position right now seems to be that since there are so few quality bigs, the price on the few who are actually capable of providing some sort of net positive get absolutely ridiculous money thrown after them, making them harder to obtain.

I dont think its realistic to sign DeAndre, he is not worth what he would be asking, probably a max.

Don't really think he's worth it.
He has a bad season so far and he will not be better with us since he has CP3 there which is a pass first pg.
I'm off the Mozgov hype train,
I think realisticly we should go for like players like McGee or Sanders(better option)
I just don't think we are able to get anyone better nor do we really need anything better for now.
We just need someone to give us 20 mins a night or so

I think the most likely scenario is that we ride out this year with what we have and then re-evaluate where we are at in the summer.

The only guy we know we have long term right now is Andy. If Tristan wants too much money or gets a lot of interest, he most likely will be gone as I don't see him being a player that gives you something that you HAVE to keep.

I think my preferred option would be to see what you can get for the Haywood contract and another asset (Dion or Memphis pick), be it Hibbert or Sanders or McGee.

If the price is too high on those guys, then I would bundle up some draft assets and try to get Willie Cauley-Stein, who would be a good young backup behind Andy and would be less redundant than Tristan because of his shot blocking abilities.

Hibbert looks a lot better physically this year, if we can get by with Andy in transition I think Hibbert would be quick enough to work.

Hibbert is not a fit for us

His defense at the rim is

Milwaukee isn't likely to trade sanders

Denver might give us McGee but I think I've been too high on his potential vs his production

Asik would be a good fit too but New Orleans likes him

DeAndre Jordan would be swell but LAC will pay big to keep him for maintaining the clippers defense in the top 10

Mason plumlee would be a nice fit at center as a slightly above average rim protector but there high on him as well

Drummond is in a rut but he won't be cheap obviously, raptors are too good to think of trading val

Howard and gasol might be a good additions but they're in good places too so I don't think they'd want to leave

Cousins and Davis are their own franchise

Noah - don't want him/ wouldn't come

Bogut - frequently injured and will get paid!!!

Dieng is hoarded by Minnesota

Basically any young big is being paid their weight in platinum and and teams are very stingy with them.

Who do you think they should try for?

I think Hibbert would work as well.

The main objection on him is that he would slow us down. Well, we haven't exactly been flying up the court every possession so far. Our bigger problem is that when Kyrie or Dion ole! their man to the basket, no one is capable of challenging at the rim. That is obviously Hibbert's strength, and has bounced back so far this year.

And at the end of the day, any time you are trading for a guy, it is because he has some sort of perceived weakness -- no one is going to trade somebody that they think has no flaws. Hibbert's are that he is getting older (a minus for a team whose window slammed shut due to injury and free agency), paid a lot, and doesn't always live up to that contract. We can afford to take the risk on him though because his strengths fill some of our biggest weaknesses.

We should get Henry Sims :)
On a serious note, I just don't see anyone that could help us enough,
We lost too many assets on Love trade, shouldn't have given that pick to Philadelphia, how are we gonna get a decent C?
I think we should just keep our draft pick and draft a legit center before next season, play varejao and Tristan smartly and try to put Kirk into the rotation

Is this a center heavy draft

Because we might be able to find someone that way

Well, if Dion is the odd man out, we maybe able to get a quality center back in return, or use our trade exception from the Bogans trade.

Jordan Hill would be a candidate to monitor. His salary is entirely too high but next year is a team option. It would be a much easier sell if he weren't making $9 million.

Dion for Mozgov. TPE and 2018 1st for Corey Brewer.

Our two biggest holes filled.

Mosgov isn't getting traded and not for that offer when they have Foye/ drafted Harris.
They will trade a C but it will be McGee, who trades a starting C that's making 4mill nobody.
