After all that.....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

i ndiana has not been missing anybody except for tinsely and o'neil. they played all last year without artest so his loss doesn't count.

His loss doesnt count? Are you serious? Not only does that mean that they lose a top 10-20 player but it also screws up the locker room. These guys went to bat for the guy last year and now he wants out.

Last year was an aberration for Indiana. They rallied around what happened but this year there is nothing to rally about and they are losing. Saying that they are only missing Tinsley, O'Neal, and Artest is like saying we would have no excuse for losing if we didnt have Snow, Ilgauskas, and James.

Just wait until they get something for Artest. They have conceded this year I think and are waiting until teams get desperate around the trade deadline so that they have the leverage. They'll get something good for him so I wouldnt say that they are a franchise in shambles. I'm sure they'll contend. And besides, they are right there with us in the standings.

They arent going to get anything good for Artest, they messed up by sayng he will be dealt. Thatkilled his value.

If they hold out till the last possible second before the deadline, they will get quality in return...

Teams that are contending will get desperate...Somebody will make a nice offer....

Nah, I doubt it.

Its too much of a risk to take on somebody like Artest and give up a lot for him.

They will be lucky to get a good young player and a draft pick.

Nah.... I'm right....

They almost got Maggette, which eventually would have been a steal for them... Before Maggette's injury came about, the Clippers were strongly considering this and supposedly contacted the Pacers about him in a potential deal... I would say he is something good...

I don't think they are going to get a superstar in return... But, they can get something good in return.. Possibly a future all star in return.

The key is to hold out... One of those .500 teams or slighly better will view him as the missing piece...Especially teams like the Warriors,Clippers,Sonics, and Lakers.

Of course all is pending on a conversation with him...The Pacers know this, that is why they're patient, and are waiting for the right deal.... That's a smart organization.

Again, I wouldn't say they are going to pull one of those Vince Carter for Eric and Aaron Williams type deals, but to say they won't get anything good, is a little premature...

Although, the Pacers are getting desperate with their 9-11 record since deactivating him... So maybe they jump on something just to jump, but I doubt it...

What I really dream of happening is somebody really step up big at SG (looks like Sasha now) to the point where we can play Hughes at PG. This would solve a lot of our issues of production from the PG position while maintaining solid D at the one and 2 spot

Maggette is out for the year, has a fat contract. So it wasnt worth the bang for that buck..

The Pacers arent going to get much in return..they cant even get Nene from Denver, that tells you Artest's value.

Nuggets would give them NeNe and Najera is a heartbeat... The Nuggz were on the verge of trading him for Dez Mason dude ;)

If I was the Pacers, I would strongly consider the Pietrus and Murphy deal... Or Al Harrington.

Again, no stars... But cleary a couple of decent players....

Now, if they are only looking for cap relief and will take expiring contracts ? Well, then that's a different story all together... They will most likely get junk then..

If they would give up Nene, the Pacers would have already pulled the trigger on this one.

Well it all looks like its an Artest for Peja deal.
