His loss doesnt count? Are you serious? Not only does that mean that they lose a top 10-20 player but it also screws up the locker room. These guys went to bat for the guy last year and now he wants out.
Last year was an aberration for Indiana. They rallied around what happened but this year there is nothing to rally about and they are losing. Saying that they are only missing Tinsley, O'Neal, and Artest is like saying we would have no excuse for losing if we didnt have Snow, Ilgauskas, and James.
Just wait until they get something for Artest. They have conceded this year I think and are waiting until teams get desperate around the trade deadline so that they have the leverage. They'll get something good for him so I wouldnt say that they are a franchise in shambles. I'm sure they'll contend. And besides, they are right there with us in the standings.
