Albert Pujols?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
2 More tonight. This guy is a beast. I don't know if he's juicin' and I don't care. He's a good guy and has a shot at the triple crown. It's so entertaining to watch.

Manny had over 100 rbi's at the allstart break the year he ended up with 165 and 45

Im waiting on Trevor Crowe to confess

you know that baseball has gotten to a sad state when we just have to assume the best player in the game is on the juice because he's big. no one, and i mean no one at this point would shock me.

I went to the Tribe game last night, and maybe it's just how shitty our team is, but I really think baseball is in a very terrible place right now. If I was Selig, I'd seriously consider contracting some teams.

But yeah, I also think a lot of this has to do with how fucking bad the Indians are right now.

It's way beyond just how shitty the Tribe is. If a player is large or appears to have gotten larger since he entered the league I automatically assume he's a PED user. Pujols? Absolutely a PED user, no doubt in my mind.

When you have a vast number of players as KNOWN PED users, it completely illegitimizes the league. Players can't be trusted, and we as fans become disenchanted with the game. Why watch a bunch of CHEATERS play a game and get rich doing it? MLB has become nothing more than a carnival freakshow or the WWE. But that's not the only reason that MLB is in trouble.

Add to that a salary structure that allows large market teams to spend as much as they want and essentially buy their way into the playoffs EVERY SINGLE YEAR, while smaller market teams have to hope their farm system, coaching staffs, and recruitment philosophy will allow them to have one or two good years back-to-back to win a championship. Whether they win it or not, they break up the team in the offseason and start all over again, a la the Florida Marlins, because they can't afford to pay the players.

So what has happened is that the smaller market teams have become the new "farm system" for the big market teams. The Clevelands, Milwaukees, Minnesotas, and Kansas Citys of the league develop the young talent. When those players finally come into their prime playing years (which also coincides with the time they start to reap the financial rewards for their hard work) they are "called up" to the New Yorks, Bostons, and LAs of the league who can pay more money for their services. It's a free market system, but it's far from a level playing field. It ensures that the teams with the financial resources will ALWAYS have the advantage before anyone takes one step onto the field each season.

Until MLB demonstrates a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY with regards to PED use, and until they institute a HARD salary cap (one which absolutely cannot be crossed), they have lost me as a fan forever.

Can we begin taking wagers on when his steroid usage becomes public?

That dude is huge...He already has 27 homers, hitting two more tonight.

I've already said on this forum, I have knowledge that the Cardinals are one of the biggest clients to a company in Ohio that sells roids and other supplements. I know for a fact good ole Al has been on the invoice. I can't go into much more detail.

Just wondering, wouldn't his name only be on the invoice if Albert himself purchased the steroids? Besides that, I've never known an invoice to have every persons name on it. Mind you I haven't seen too many invoices, so this is a legit question.

Of course Albert purchases his own steroids, but he goes by an alias of Al Pujols when shopping for 'roids. Albert puts a fake mustache on and goes in the the steroids store and says "Hi, I'm Al, may I have some more steroids?" Then he skips out of the store with bags of steroids but the invoice says AL Pujols.

The guy I know runs a certain aspect of the business and can pretty much see any documentation he wants. However, it's highly secured and he can't bring a camera or even remove any of the documentation. If he did, he'd be fired. He can't make copies either. I'm not sure if his name was on the invoice or shipping label. The Cardinals owner has been on many of them as well.

Ryan Tucker also purchased it from the same place, but he actually went to the facility that's in Ohio.

Something about Albert seems genuine to me. I don't know what it is, but I believe the guy.

Intersting perspective. I had never thought of it that way. Baseball does have many problems, with the elephant in the room being amphetamines IMO, but the reason that baseball is screwed is that it is too slow for the great majority to enjoy, especially people under 30. The speed of my generation and our lack of attention span (I am 26) far exceeds what baseball offers, and people younger than me are worse. I will add that this notion is more of an observation than an indictment: I have nothing against baseball. My view might also be jaded by my apathy here, but my inner Nostradamus is telling me baseball will fade (although not completely) at the mercy of football and basketball.

Pujols was very closely connected to some trainers that were implicated in HGH distribution in some capacity... read a story about it a while back, can't remember where though. Sadly if I had to bet on it he was on the juice at some point and is still probably on HGH (like most big leaguers, until they can easily test for it).

I wish they would have let these guys use all this stuff...

Bonds would still be crushing them at 45... I don't care about who's using and who's not..This season seems kinda boring as is.. I would love to see someone like Hanley Ramirez juiced up and having 35 homers right now.. :chuckles:

Do you mean you wish YOU could still use them?

Nomar, I'm sorry you had to live in A-Rod's steroid enhanced shadow during your prime.
