I think we can wait this thing out though. Really, how many other teams are going hard after Jamison? There was a flimsy report about Miami going after him but imo that was just BS put out there by Miami. Who else is going after Murphy? I think we will wait until Thursday if necessary.

you might be right. but look for ferry to try to force the issue today. maybe leaking some info on a Washington deal that is about to go down for z and jj.

He wants these new players on the bench Thursday. I'm sure he will wait if need be though.

Everybody panics when they read something on espn.com and I'm really not sure why. ESPN, quite literally, absolutely hates us, and does not want to see us obtain a player like Amar'e. They want to keep believing that LBJ + Wade will play together in Miami next year, and for many years. The only guy on ESPN that likes us is Chris Broussard, so unless he is panicking, then I'm not going to panic. Always remember:

Have Faith in Ferry Guys. The dude knows what he's doing. He wouldnt put us in a bad position. BELIEVE!

I think you also have to consider that Kerr and Ferry are best friends. They aren't tricking each other, there will be clear communication.

Like last year when Kerr bailed at the last second leaving us with no time to do anything?

The problem isn't us. The problem is that Sarver isn't going to want to potentially lose out on Z's contract. If we move on to our other options, they are in trouble.

i just think the amare trade is the only one that improves the cavs. i dont see ferry blowing his load for murphy or maggete. so kerr just might feel like the cavs trade will be there. so whats the rush for kerr?

The problem is, the later it gets, the more the Wiz will demand. They will know we don't have the Suns as an option.

I think that's the biggest reason why Ferry set the deadline to tonight for the Suns to decide.

The Suns insider also said he expects them to decide on our offer by tonight.

I read today that he said they will wait till Thursday.
