I'm now led to believe that if the Browns really want Smith and think he'll still be there with their 3rd rounder (I'd put that at 50/50), they'll use the draft strategy of trying to deal down a few spots and take Alan Branch

Obviously this needs to be taken with a grain of salt, since the combine hasn't even happened yet, but that's pretty much my dream draft: trade down in round 1, picking up a stud lineman (best OL or DL available), and grabbing Smith in round 3.
