Look guys. If we aren't going to discuss the Love trade until after the playoffs why bring it up?Note, for those ready to say Wiggins should never been traded, probably never wins ROY in Cleveland. On top of that doesn't get the playing time he did in, Minny.
Doesn't make me want him any less. For us to have given up Wiggins and still have to sit here wondering if Love will be a Cavalier next year... Doesn't feel good. Especially given the current situation.Note, for those ready to say Wiggins should never been traded, probably never wins ROY in Cleveland. No chance he gets 36 mpg here, none.He would definitely get the same amount of playing time, just not the same touches and liberties on offense.

Agreed.Sorry. I'm just pissed off. If this was an average basketball type injury we see most every day, I wouldn't mind as much. It wasn't. It was avoidable. It was malicious. IMO, it was intentional. I'm pissed.
I just don't care too much reading about this wiggins guy. It's past. I want to look forward.
If anything, it's the Kevin Love thread that needs to be temporarily locked, to help people reach the acceptance stage sooner.
It's going to be impossible to objectively evaluate this trade until you get to see the totality of both Love and Wiggins' career.
Even then you're playing a guessing game about what might have happened if we hadn't done the trade. Maybe someone will write some great historical fiction piece on the possibilities, but wasting your time on this is pretty much pointless in my opinion.
I think what can be derived is how good of a GM LeBron really is, and whether or not we should listen to him. I also think we can assess the arguments presented supporting either side, and see how they held up, and then make better decisions down the road.
I always think we can learn from our own history, and that if we don't we're doomed to repeat the same mistakes.
