Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My typical noob trade strategy:

"You know this is a good trade when both of us walk away slightly regretting it. If there's a question in your mind whether this is the right move to make, then I'm definitely asking myself the same question."

He didn't accept, he was trying to trade rape me actually. He responded with an equally ridiculous offer of "a WR not named Dez or Calvin or future picks."

I passed. I just drafted Ray Rice and Torrey Smith.

Romo will be better than Brady. Not sure why he even wants to make that trade.

What other RB's were available? I like the Smith pick up.

You better handcuff Rice later on.

EDIT: handcuff....didn't even mean it when I wrote it.

My draft is Sunday, I'm still torn on who to pick: LeSean McCoy or Adrian Peterson.

I'm leaning towards McCoy.

However, I did make it to round two of the playoffs last year, had the number one pick last year and selected Peterson.

Also, would it be to early to pick a QB in round two? I was looking at either Foles or Kaepernick. (assuming they fall to the next round)

Please don't do that QB pick in the 2nd round. You will still have a ton better to choose from than those 2 shit heads.

You have to pick a route. Get one of the "elite" QB's or draft a deep roster and grab romo/cutler/rg3 later on. With the first pick, I'd probably do the latter

Okay so I'm in a keeper league and I'm keeping Lesean McCoy. I also have the first pick. Should I take AP with the first pick and just have stacked RBs?

Standard scoring? If that's the case I would.

In an NFL where elite RBs are becoming harder and harder to find, coming out of your draft with 2 of them is a coup.

Annual reminder to give league settings, size, scoring, etc with any questions.

Holy shit. You MUST take AP. Then you can wrap around in the 2nd/3rd and get your QB in Rodgers and a stud WR in the likes of Thomas or Jones. Your first 4 guys on your team are going to be insane.

Edit: My draft is Saturday of labor day weekend and then the RBF draft is Sunday. I will post all my shit after that. My yearly draft is 12-team, standard. 1-3-2-1-1-1, no flex, bench.

I have to go QB in the first if Peyton or Brees are left right? I feel like the scoring almost dictates it.

In that kind of scoring, absolutely. Peyton should be the number one overall pick.

I'm in a PPR league with some of the guys from my job and I got the first overall pick for the second time. Last year I took AP and I wasn't pleased at all with his production. Minnesota wasn't a good team last year so they were playing from behind a lot. Therefore not really running the ball much... I'm pretty sure I'm going Charles this year. I love the receptions he gets per game. Last year was my first fantasy experience and I definitely underestimated how much of a difference PPR scoring makes. I'm excited to draft next Saturday because I actually know what I'm doing this time around.
