Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, you do know, as these are people in your league.

Seriously...who are these people? Co-workers? Friends? Random strangers you met online? Because they sound like they know absolutely nothing about football, or at least several of them know nothing.

I know most of the people in all three of my leagues with the exception of a handful of people that fall into the "friends of my friend the league commissioner" category in two of the leagues. It's so much more fun to talk shit when you know the people, after all.

The two top fantasy backs getting dropped? I think he's making this league up. Or he created a league and is playing in it himself.

I don't think Murray is even able to be dropped in most leagues.

Same here I lost by 40 points. Stafford hasn't been his normal self the last 2 weeks. I hope it's just a fluke. Are you sticking it out with Stafford or would you move him.

I made a trade. My receivers are shit. I have good running backs. I traded forte for Julio Jones. My backs are Murray McCoy and bell. My receivers are Edelman, James Jones, Michael Floyd and corradel Paterson. So after the trade my lineup looks like this

Stafford
Mccoy
Murray
Jones
Paterson
Gronk
Cincinnati defense

Stafford's a beast, was a top 3 QB last season, though he played like ass in the playoffs (one crummy game due to a Detroit Blizzard). I'm definitely going to stick it out with him. He was in the second tier of QB's after Brees/Rodgers/Manning before the season, getting him in the 6th round seems like a good deal.

So my PPR auction league team has put up 423 points over three games. The next highest scoring team in the league is 378. The lowest is 273, which is like FiveThous level fantasy embarrassment.

Worked out two trades after taking my first loss this season.

Original Lineup
QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Randall Cobb
WR: Victor Cruz
WR: Michael Floyd (AZ)
RB: Giovani Bernard
RB: Frank Gore
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLX: Ridley / Steven Jackson / Ben Tate (out)

Trade 1: Traded Victor Cruz for Eddie Lacy - ended up popping someone's trade cherry in fantasy football.
Trade 2: Trading Ben Tate and Steven Ridley for DeSean Jackson and Bobby Rainey

New Lineup
QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Randall Cobb
WR: DeSean Jax
WR: Michael Floyd (AZ)
RB: Giovani Bernard
RB: Eddie Lacy
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLX: Frank Gore or Carlos Hyde / Steven Jackson / Steve Smith Sr. etc.

Thoughts? Was getting annoyed having to make the decision between Ridley or Steven Jackson each week. Think Tate's role will have to be diminished with how well Crow and West have run so far.

You fleeced'em on the first trade and kinda got fleeced on the second. Cruz for Lacy is a beautiful trade; Green Bay can't suck for that much longer. On the other trade two starting RBs for a wideout? Rainey isn't long for the NFL in my opinion.

There's no decision to be made between Ridley and Steven Jackson in my opinion.

Ridley is averaging around 17-18 touches per game so far. 22 points in week 2. Jackson's washed up, it's fairly evident. You can check the waiver wire, but if you're in a decently competitive league, you probably won't find better just hanging around.

Week 1 - Highest Score
Week 2 - Lowest Score
Week 3 - 2nd highest score

Just a bad week 2 really, not a bad team.

Not really expecting anything from Rainey - just a throw in to make it 2 for 2. Having Gore as my flex makes it a bit easier to keep Steven Jackson as well. I feel better having Steven Jackson as my fourth back than having Michael Floyd as my WR2 and Steve Smith / DeAndre Hopkins as my WR3.

Here's a question for you guys...in my PPR league, I have the following RBs:
Jamaal Charles, Le'Veon Bell, Mark Ingram, Knile Davis, and Terrence West

We can probably figure that Tate will be coming back after the bye week. Should I part ways with West and move on to another bench back?

Best available backs:
McFadden, Ivory, Greene, Thomas, Tate

Do we think that Tate will regain the starter spot after the bye week? I'm leaning toward picking up either him (was actually surprised to find him on the waiver wire) or Ivory.

I ended up swapping West for Ivory given that Ivory has a more certain spot on his team's rotation, with West's status and touches questionable with Tate returning soon and Crowell also looking good. We may very well see a three way time share on the Browns this year.

I too have some decisions to make on questionable running backs with Lynch and Ball on bye weeks, and Moreno out for who knows how long.

League #1 - Right now I have MJD and Blount starting (LOL). Just picked up Blount since Steelers have an easy schedule coming up so hopefully he gets more garbage stuff. Could pick up Joique Bell. That's about the only thing available that is enticing.

League #2 - Chris Johnson, Blount, Bush starting, with Lynch on bye and DeAngelo Williams questionable. Just picked up Joe McKnight, dropped some garbage from the bench. Forsett is also available though.
