Anthony Bennett

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was plays like this that made you say "damn, this kid has some fucking talent, he's got to put it together soon."

I'm glad we no longer have to dream that one day Bennett would eventually pull his head out of his ass.

Those And1 guys have a ton of talent too...there's nothing talented about that play. Just a fat guy dunking essentially.

The only thing I've ever liked about Bennett was it looked like he could have a nice stroke. Key worked looked because it never went it. Always thought his athleticism was extremely overrated.

I remember when max came in here after the draft when everybody was up in arms over drafting Bennett. I believed he described Bennett as a safe pick with a very low chance of busting. Don't want to pick on @Maximus , but it is quite funny that he is looking like one of the greatest busts to ever lace them up. I don't think there was a single person here that didn't shout "what the fuck" after he was drafted. The best part was everybody, including myself, doing our best to try and rationalize it. Man, so glad he is off our hands, and wow; what an incredibly bad draft pick.

Like most of recent Cavs picks..
I believe in Waiters though, it looks like he's maturing and his D while he's engaged is impressive.
It really sucks the fans have absolutely no control over anything, it brings me down when the management does something stupid which is most of the time.

That Kyrie Irving pick looks atrocious.

I can't help but believe work ethic is the real issue with this kid.

Perhaps he was so excited to play for the Cavs team this season so he lost alot of weight, played well preseason and had high hopes but then he was traded to the Wolves to a struggling team and yet again he has no role on the team so he just doesn't give a shit.

Think that's about right.

Not a good testament to his character or a good sign for his future if so. He really had no excuse to get THAT out of shape with the Cavs anyways.

Hate to say it, but he looks and sounds kind of dumb too. Plays the same way.

Actually, I literally shouted, "What the fuck? What are we goddamn fucking doing again? Can't fucking believe this shit." Everyone I was with told me to calm the hell down.

Then I watched every YouTube video of him I could find and then rationalized as you said.

He started this year off well by making that jumper, grabbing offensive boards, playing decent D. Then it's all fallen apart. His D, as it was last year, has been really, really bad. He played a few minutes last night and it was so painful to see him being so thoroughly abused by Faried on at least two offensive boards Faried grabbed as AB tried to box him out.

I'd still play him, though, because Young isn't ever going to become anything and this needs to lose as many games as possible for a better pick. Unless it's as Rich says that he can't physically run up and down the court, I'd play him.

Young is like a poor mans Josh Smith.
Questionable mid range jumpers, inconsistent and generally reminds me of him.

AB had a solid game Wednesday night.

I will always question why Minnesota went after Thad Young. I mean I know it was to sell tickets, but if you throw AB in the fire like they did with Wiggins, you might see some results. Let him take some lumps but have him know that, even when he doesn't do everything perfectly, he'll still be out there. Instead he's buried behind Thad Young who really hasn't been good at all this year. Would they be worse if they didn't have Thad? They've only got 5 wins, so I doubt it.

Shouldn't be a surprise that AB's production took a major dive when Rubio went down.

0/1/1 2 fouls. I'm beginning to feel sorry for the guy.

I always felt bad for him.

Seems like a nice kid who just doesn't have the desire to be a great basketball player.

Strikes me as a guy that's out of the league in five years running a not for profit in Canada and being quite happy doing it.
