What still is unexplained though is above all the Waiters pick. If you look at the later picks as well (Zeller, Karasev, 2nd rounders), they were pretty much swings and misses.

Zeller definitely wasn't a miss. He's a solid NBA player, which is what you hope to get out of a mid-round pick. As for Karasev, well, he never really even got a chance here. It was pretty obvious he was a multi-year project who had a lot of future potential, but we traded him before he had a chance to realize any of it.

I missed on the bigs but thought Greek Freak would be the best player from the class if he put it together.

I said if there wasn't a number one you take the Greek freak. Then I wanted adams then Dieng. Adams isn't quite there yet,but I would still take him.

Gobert was a great high upside pick and a lot of people on the board wanted him. I was upset we went with Karasev over one of these centers.

He does have 10 times the basketball ability of TT. He will be better than TT in 10 games or so.

Bennett has made 6 of his last 7 shots, including 1 of 2 threes over his last 2 games. Glad to see him healthy, finally. Hopefully he finishes the season strong and builds on it over the off season. Kid has talent even if he has a knack for filling the Shaqtin' a fool "highlight" reels.
