Anyone get a PS3 pre-order?

I'm buying a house and am pretty much broke. Sounds like they went pretty fast, gamestop sold out of their whole shipment by 2pm yesterday.

yea, i heard about people camping out to just RESERVE the system, i was hoping that the $600 price tag would keep people away from it, but apparently not. i would like to get one just to have the Blue Ray DVD player, i dont even play video games anymore unless its Madden, and i really only play in the fall or winter. i have to much self respect to hang out a video game store waiting to reserve one. and i wont buy one from a re-seller. ill manage to get one some how some way.

No I'd rather not spend 600 dollars on a ****ing video game console. It's not much better then 360 definately not worth it...games are $100 dollars with all due respect **** Sony I hope they go bankrupt.

sony will never go bankrupt. Ill wait a about a year until it goes down about 150 bucks like they always do. ps2 will still be making games for a while.

I came around..I sold my car and dipped into my college savings account and pre ordered a PSP I stole an old ladies purse and found 64 dollars so I'm 2/3 of the way there to getting 1 game.

im just not at the age where i think ill use it enough to get 600 bucks of usage for it. my dad is getting a 56 inch HD with all the bells and whistles, so i thought itd be cool to have it for the blue ray dvd. i dunno ill think about it a lil more.

my cousin works at Gamespot.. he told me he was gonna tell me when he finds exactly when they were gonna start the preordering.... his bitch ass never called.. lol they better not sell out... i work 2 jobs, so i got extra cash to spend... so im definatly gonna buy one....

i gotta work 40 hrs a week during the holiday hours so i dont think ima have time to pay for it.. so i might just buy it after the "mad rush" and the bugs get out of it..
