Battle for the AL Central -|- Indians @ Royals -|- August 29th, 30th, and 31st

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Maybe it's me, but I feel like this can change the entire dynamic of the remainder of the season; for better or worse.
I think a sweep would have crippled them mentally. Granted, it's highly unlikely they pick that win up later, but they can atleast brush it off for now.

What's not to like? As far as I'm concerned we just swept a 2 game series and now we go home to play Detroit.

It's only 3 outs, in Cleveland, and I assume the Royals have to resume in the same spot in the lineup. I like our chances.

They were likely going to brush it off either way. They have a 3 games series at home against Texas.

This team is really making an impression on me. Two nights in a row they had the game won, the Royals came back, and the Indians answered. Who would have believed a few weeks ago the Indians would be in the chase for the Division Title?

Kyle Crockett was announced. Allen and Shaw are ineligible to be used.
Since Allen pitched the last inning and was never officially taken out, can't he resume the next inning?

Why would the ndians even want to put back in the guy who blew the save in the first place?

So is Crockett forced to pitch at least one AB?

Edit: clarification from the PD- "*Since Crockett was announced as the new pitcher, that shuts the door on Allen (and Bryan Shaw and T.J. House, who pitched earlier in the game). Per league rules, Crockett is not required to start the inning on the mound, but if he doesn't, he may not enter the game at any point."
