<---- I am doing everything in my power to not leave right now and go buy one of these. That looks amazing. Please provide feedback.

Went to a beer tasting today for Thomas Creek.

No idea how widely available this brewery's beers are, but the Vanilla Cream Ale and the Chocolate Orange IPA are both very good.

I'll let you know once I taste it. Got it at Lizardville in Bedford.

That is a pretty unique bottle. The fine print says 10%. That's pretty potent for a pale ale. I drive by Lizardville all the time when I'm working. may have to stop in and pick up some if it gets a good review on here. Does it comes in 6 pack or 12 or both?

Looks like it comes in a bomber from the picture.

Comes in the "bomber" only. They didn't even put them up; they kept them behind the counter... I wouldn't have known that they were selling it if I didn't notice that folks were nabbing them as they checked out. I'd advise checking, but I don't think they'll still have them. Either way, I think they may still have KBS on tap.. That was such a well rounded beer.

india pale ale... 10% for a pale ale would be outrageous (rarely north of 6%) - but 10% for an IPA is becoming pretty common. The big, boozy imperial IPA's are becoming a trend and for good reason. That said, the 'Doom' looks very tasty.

disclaimer: no apologies for the snobby post - this is the 'Beer snob thread!'

No wonder your clients are complaining - you should be working every waking hour on their behalf, not having great beers:chuckles:

Had this one today:

It was a pretty decent IPA. Nothing too special. I just bought it because it was a new arrival at the local beer store.

Was at The Lockview in downtown Akron last week. Had Buckeye Hippie IPA (not a fan), Ommegang Witte (liked), and Unibroue Don De Dieu (favorite of the 3).

I tried Brooklyn Silver Anniversary Lager today as well, as the guy at my local beer store cracked open a bottle and let the regulars there try it.

It had a lot of flavor for a lager, but there's no way I would have payed twenty bucks (the asking price) for a bottle of it. Glad I got to sample it, though.

I take great pride in my balancing act, kind sir.

The "kind sir" was more or less a snob thread exclusive. Otherwise, I'd tell ya to fuck off or some shit:thumbup:(Archie Bunker style of course...I may call ya a meathead and then go to the chill box and grab us one each of a Rogue Dead Guy or some other fav so you feel good about me insulting you).

Anyone a fan of Elevator Brewery? Never had a beer of theirs that I didn't enjoy. They are based in Columbus
