Best way to watch the Cavs this season?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
are there any "legal" (non ballstreams) ways to watch the cavs if i am in the local broadcast area?

the only reason i have cable is for cavs games, browns games, and getting hammered and passing out while watching diners drive ins and dives. i can live without diners drive ins and dives.

Nope. Pay for cable or watch at a bar/friends with cable. Those are your legal options.

You know what makes me absolutely sick?

$350 Australian dollars to watch the Cavs this season thanks to a shoddy economy and exchange rate? They better bring home the Larry O this season...

-60 bucks for ballstreams
-Freeze during all star break
-Freeze during the playoffs (maybe international viewers can't do this)
-Freeze during offseason
-Watch preseason
-Pay 60 bucks for another season after the Cavs nationally televised opening week games are up

That's how I stay in check. I'm surprised some people are still waiting for invites though. I'll never do league pass while this service is around.

Might be cheaper to buy a US based VPN and connect through that lol

I'm not complaining. I'm considering completing Edith Cowan University's online MS in Strength and Conditioning. This would save me approximately $12,000 or so compared to 4 years ago. :chuckle:

He said he is going to Asia. Maybe this is Rodman visiting his pal. Pretty sure nba.tv wouldn't work in North Korea.
It's actually TT. He's playing in China this year and wants to watch the Cavs win a championship without him.

I've used Ballstreams for over 2 years and I love it. Quality is good and if there's a problem with the stream the admin is quick to fix it usually within 5-10 minutes and there's no blackouts.

Best part about it is if there's a certain part of the season when you don't want to use your days you have left on your active account, you can park the account (has to be at least I believe at LEAST 2 weeks) so you don't use those days.

If you're interested please use my referral link below to register and even try it out for a day or a week to see if you like to before committing long term.

Of course when I finally got my invite, it was between paydays and I didn't have the cash to set up my account. But as of right now, unless you're a current member, they aren't even taking requests for invites. The website isn't even functional unless you can login to an account.

Yeah I'm pissed. I can log on but I can't do anything. I was going to sign up again today to watch some preseason games tonight and I can't access any menu. I can just log in.

I know of 1 game I will miss and hope I can find online. Preseason against the Grizzlies. I had Directv with LP for years and they aired preseason, switched to Uverse and LP isn't even activated until Oct 27th. Luckily all but 1 preseason game is on NBAtv. I tried to even fight Uverse saying preseason is advertised on nba.com as well as its not a specific cable provider package so if LP is on and airing preseason for Directv, it should do the same with Uverse. I got no where, those people are stupid.

There is a lot of talk about ballstreams. I haven't read the whole thread so maybe this has been covered, but ballstreams is stealing NBA property and using a loophole to resell it. It's always amazing to me the number of people these days who thinks it's okay to buy and/or copy stolen property if it saves them some money.

I think there's an argument for entities like ballstreams existing and it has to do with holding leagues to a quality standard.

The NBA tech is generally complete shit. They spit out sub par apps and products because "fuck you, you have no alternative". Seriously, the streaming can be downright horrible at times with league pass and the xbox one app was a joke last season. It would always crash or pause, leading me to plug in to my computer and stream it via HDMI to the TV.

I agree that it is taking advantage of a loophole but I also think sports leagues have a responsibility to provide a better experience. That's why people use ballstreams.....because it's a superior product. I would pay for it if it was equal to LP or slightly more expensive because the product is so much better.

I watched quite a few games using League Pass on the Apple TV last year and never had a single problem.

Maybe that is the case for people with top tier internet connections....mine falls somewhere in the middle.

I had LP on the month to month contract. Streaming sucked for all the connected devices I had except my computer (Apple TV, Xbox One, etc.). I signed up for Ballstreams and it worked perfectly AND was better quality.

I agree it is certainly a gray area and I really didn't feel comfortable signing up....but I also don't understand forcing a customer to use something that just doesn't work either. I wanted to watch the games and for my internet connection, the two weren't even close. If they were, I would have just stuck with LP.

I use League pass, but how do you even talk to them? You can't suggest anything or get them to do anything. They cut the choice option which I loved. It was a lower priced option where i could choose 7 then 5 then 1 team. They cut my teams by 80% and lowered my price by 10-20%. It sucks.
