Hoping To Play
Feb 2 - TNT's studio crew began debating his replacement possibilities within seconds after Carlos Boozer was named as an NBA All-Star for the first time in his five-season career.
Not so fast, Chuck. Hold your horses, Magic.
Boozer on Thursday night reiterated what he first suggested Wednesday that despite a hairline fracture on the fibula bone head leading into his left knee, he still hasn't ruled out taking part in the Feb. 18 All-Star Game at Las Vegas.
"I'm hoping to (play)," the Jazz's leading scorer and rebounder said while icing the knee. "Obviously I won't know until we get much, much closer." -- Deseret Morning News

Of course, Cavs fans haven't seen Boozer in Cleveland since he left. Injuries prevented him from making the first two trips, but he vows he'll be back by March 17, the next time Utah visits The Q. He is expected to miss four to five weeks, and he hopes it will be closer to four, which would have him back late this month.
"I look forward to going back," Boozer said. "I'm sure there will be more boos than 'Booz.' But I look forward to that environment. It's great motivation. Obviously, they're a very, very good team. They're very well-coached. Mike Brown is doing a terrific job, and they have one of the top three or four players in the league in LeBron. It will be a good environment. I'm looking forward to it."
