Bosh trade

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I agree, and it isn't just Cavs homerism talking.

So I suspect Bosh is not open to coming here...

Nobody knows. As has been said many times , in many different threads, it's in LBJ's court. He tells Bosh that he's coming back, come play, Bosh becomes interested.

It's a matter of how long Bosh is willing to wait on a James decision.

No offense, because we've talked about this before....

But take a breath dude. You're by far and away the most pessimistic person I've ever seen in my entire life. I know it can sometimes appear from the outside that things aren't great, but I've never seen anyone with such a defeatist attitude that you have. For real man, like you make these sweeping assumptions over like every single article that gets written.

So Dan LeRetard comes out and says "Bosh to Miami is a done deal!" and less than an hour later its rebuffed, but what do you say in the meantime?

"Gee, big surprise, somebody has made an offer for Bosh and it isn't us!"

Just calm down and be a little less reactionary. Everyone is doing their best to make things happen here. You can't stress about every single little article or "sources say" report out there.

More of this :chuckles:

Less of this :(

This is about where I am. I can't post anything if it isn't rainbows and sunnyside up anymore because people get upset. I like you CBBI, so nothing against you. I'm just saying.

Anyways, it all matters whether or not Bosh wants to come here. Broussard says he doesn't- how much credibility he has is anyone's guess at this point. If he does want to I think we have him. If the Heat are really going to take some bullshit package around Michael Beasley though, yeah, that's going to be hella frustrating my friend. Note that my statement wasn't an indictment on the Cavs either...I think I even specified that to make sure nobody was able to call it out as if it were, but there you go.

I think LeBron will be rather quick knowing that that if he re-signs with Cavs rather quickly, it helps our chances at getting a S&T done for another big FA.

I think this whole ordeal will take much longer than most think... Toronto wants to get the maximum it can from whatever teams are trying to S&T for Bosh. However I don't think it is a Cleveland vs. Miami thing. I think there are a lot of options for Bosh and the Raptors and they will likely wait a bit before coming to a decision on the best option for them.

First things first we need Lebron to sign on the line

People are worrying as if Bosh is going to agree to a sign and trade with another team tonight at midnight. He is going to make sure he goes somewhere that puts him in a position to win for years as to not be stuck in a situation like Toronto. AKA, he is most likely not going decide in days.

Since he had said LeBron will be the first domino to fall...

LeBron (if he decides to stay) will make his decision before Bosh has the opportunity to go anywhere, giving the Cavaliers a chance to nab Bosh.

If Bosh decides he wants to be traded to Miami, it will be in the midst of a bidding war between the Heat, Cavaliers, and possibly another team. Miami is not alone on this.

Other than Mike&Mike, has there been any indication that Bosh is even thinking about Cleveland?

We didn't appear on his list, we're never really rumored for him...it's mainly just been L.A., Miami, and Chicago.

I badly want a second all-star here to pair up with LeBron, but from everything I've been able to synthesize, that second all-star will not be Chris Bosh. Why else would Miami extend a qualifying offer to Anthony?

No, there hasn't been any indication other than M&M.

Although that list was BS according to Bosh Rex.

To that same extent we're rarely considered in the running for Lebron:chuckles:

Bosh has said his #1 priority is winning and has also said he would consider Cleveland an option if Lebron stays.

I get where you're coming from completely. There hasn't been a whole lot to be excited about since Game 6 believe me and I get that. But there's really nothing out there but disinformation right now. To get upset at any piece of news right now to be is just silly. We've seen no less then 8 different articles over the last two weeks saying that their city was the front runner for LeBron's services.

It's all bull man. The guy I trust the most, Brian Windhorst, the only person in the media in fact who's known LeBron James personally for 10 years came out today and said "I think LeBron's resigning with Cleveland." Will that happen? Maybe. Maybe not. You're just gonna drive yourself insane if you read every single article or tweet or blog post that's put out there and actually put any sort of value in any of it.

I would say that's a pretty big indication, since it came straight from Bosh's mouth.

I know that if the Raptors S&T Bosh to the Heat, the Raptors will still be over the cap. If, however, the Raptors S&T him to us for West, etc. and buyout West, would they also be over the cap?

Looking at that line up and thinking small ball of AJ at the 4 and Bosh at C for periods of time is a dream.

The Bosh trade looks about right. But this is where you lost me. Garcia has one of the worst contracts in the league. He's basically Jawad Williams but five times as expensive. No way we look to add him.

If we do get Bosh then our most logical next move would be to deal Jamison for a two guard with a similar, though longer contract, like Rip Hamilton or Iggy. Then we could use our MLE for a big.

Bosh has said repeatedly he doesn't want to play center.
