Bosh trade

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Bosh trade looks about right. But this is where you lost me. Garcia has one of the worst contracts in the league. No way we actually look to add him.

If we do get Bosh then our most logical next move would be to deal Jamison for a two guard with a similar, though longer contract, like Rip Hamilton or Iggy. Then we could use our MLE for a big.

That makes a ton of sense with the Philly trade... with Evan Turner Iggy becomes expendable

I always liked Garcia's game. He is 6'7, can play sg/sf, a pretty good outside shooter, and a better defender than Moon. His contract isnt great with 3 yrs 17m left on it. It is more just me liking his game, don't know how the Cavs would feel about him. But i like him better than Moon.

  • Sign Ray Allen to the MLE
  • Sign Kwame Brown to vets min (defensive big)
  • Resign Shaq
  • Pick up Jawad Williams Option

SF. Lebron James
PF. Chris Bosh
C. Shaquille Oneal

Bench:
Antawn Jamison, Daniel Gibson, Jarret Jack, Fransisco Garcia, Kwame Brown, Jawad Williams, Leon Powe, Danny Green...etc.

I think Toronto would much rather move Jose Calderon than Jarret Jack.

the bosh trade doesn't work salary wise

I was just thinking that if I were Chris Bosh (and playing with LBJ is my intention), I don't wait for LBJ to make his decision. Having previously said that I want to be one of the marquee players in this FA hoopla and be the one that everyone is talking about, I let it be known at 12:01 that I intend on going through with a S&T to CLE. I would know that there is no way LBJ leaves if I'm coming so there is really no point in waiting on him. On top of it all, I get to be the domino that starts all of this and steal media attention from LBJ. I'll get to be the player that everyone is talking about which is something I've hinted at before.

But that's just me:king:

Bosh is going to be a key because he wants a sign and trade to get him the most money. As far as a sign and trade the teams that cleared cap don't have a lot to offer because they don't have many players left on their rosters. I would think that the best fits that Bosh would be interested in would be the Rockets and the Cavaliers. I'm kind of surprised that that the Mavs haven't shown interest in Bosh. I know they have Dirk but Cuban is always looking to make a deal.

Well if they are interested in that, if Bosh wanted to come here, we could at least offer that.

The Raptors are uninterested in receiving Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony in a sign-and-trade for Chris Bosh, according to multiple sources.

But Toronto would consider a $16 million trade exemption and the return of its first-round pick from Miami in the 2009 Jermaine O'Neal trade for a potential Bosh move.

Bosh would receive an extra $30M in guaranteed money if he signed a deal with the Raptors.

The cavs pitch is to toronto, once they get them on board in principle then its easier to sway bosh once lebron re-signs. it could seem like nothing official is happening but behind the scenes they can unofficially talk to anyone now.
