Bosh trade

About to head in the first meeting. Looking forward to seeing what Miami has to offer. #staytuned

This was only about 20 minutes ago. There is no way he has made his decision yet.

I doubt he comes here, he would be getting more money than Lebron if he signs a max deal......Lebron wants to be the #1 paid player on the team

It would be the same amount, they signed identical contracts after their rookie deals ran out.

They would both get the max money, nobody would have more money than the other, I don't see how on could be making more than the other.

Lebron is only hurting himself if he wants to stay here. By not committing as DJG said - why the hell would Bosh want to sign up?

Wade is making it known he is staying and recruiting others to join him.

Lebron is doing the opposite.

Is that why he's visiting other teams?

Bucher said Wade is doing Riley's dirty work. He's taking up other teams time trying to distract them.

If Bosh goes to Miami instead of coming here, it isn't LeBron's fault.

It is because it is MIAMI.

When are people going to realize guys don't want to come to Cleveland? Why the hell would you want to live in Cleveland instead of Miami?

I think Wade is spying on other teams, So, his team can do better while presenting offers :D

I think Bosh is almost a lock to go to Miami. Even if they can't sign and trade him, the lack of an income tax saves him millions.

The best thing we have going for us is that Rudy Gay and Joe Johnson got the hometown max deals - and I doubt Bron will want to play for less money than Johnson or Gay.

We need to make a big move.

Im not too sure but I think there max contract is different because Gay hasnt been in the league as long. IDK about Johnson.

Chris Bosh had an 'impressive and productive' meeting with the Heat on Thursday.

Miami offered a contract proposal to Bosh, but they were unable to secure an early commitment.

We've still got a shot then.

Cmon LeBron, commit on Monday...and get your pal Chris here.

Awesome news, sounds like he really will wait on Lebron.

C'MON BRON~

For a player with 4-6 years in the league, a max salary starts at 20% of the cap or 105% of the previous year's salary (whichever is greater). For a player with 7-9, it's 25% of cap or 105%, and for 10+ years, it's 30% of the cap or 105%.

Almost always, the % of the cap was bigger than 105%, but with the declining cap, it might not be so depending on your salary. Gay's coming his rookie deal, so he's at 20% of the cap. Off the top of my head, I don't know what Johnson's salary was last year, but his max deal whould be withing a couple million of LBJ/Bosh/Wade/Amare's deals.
