Brendan Haywood's Trade Exception

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Would a Wes Matthews trade seem far fetched? Especially when the LMA domino falls, I think Portland would go to rebuild mode.

He is a free agent this summer.

He's coming off a torn Achilles tendon. Injured in March. I'm not sure what his market is right now.

What's the point of LeBron carrying scrubs in the finals again due to starters cant stay healthy

I read the Clips are trying to move Crawford. I think he'd be a solid fit.
Love his game. Pretty healthy history, can play with or without ball, almost never goes cold, could stretch the floor for anyone. Im all aboard if hes not an asset via the Haywood trade....unless of course we can pull players from other teams.

If you go by that logic then what is the point of OKC even fielding a team next year? What is the point of Chicago keeping Derrick Rose?

Injuries happen. They screwed us big time this year. But injuries happen every year to different teams. There are several other fanbases in addition to us(OKC and Chicago chief among them) that legit believe had the had the health GS had, they could have made or won the Finals.

So all you can do is add as much talent and depth to the team as possible and hope that you have your health during the playoff runs.

Keep an eye on the Spurs in regards to Haywood.
Interesting. Although I'm not sure who we'd be aiming for on their roster. Patty Mills would be a nice PG backup, but Haywood can fetch way more than that.

Splitter sounds like an obvious candidate to move, esp if they have a real shot at LMA. But we don't really need big man depth at that price. Maybe SA would be a third team in a deal?

I wonder if we could pry Patty Mills from them...Especially with an ascendant Cory Joseph.

Can you sign and trade a RFA like Joseph? He's underrated and if the Spurs are dead set on keeping Mills, then Joseph would be expendable certainly. Not to mention he's in the Rich Paul camp and whatnot.

Due to our tax status, I don't think we can receive a player in an S+T

With the exception of our core players, whose contract can we use and pair with him to at least get 2 guys that we need?

I wonder how much room the Spurs need to clear to make their run at Aldrige, Gasol or even Lopez/Jordan?

Would they look to move just Splitter or Mills as well?
